Of course people haven’t mentioned the fact that those who don’t detransition are never heard from so there’s no real comparable data.

Why do so many - even the young - now prefer old music over new?

I’m a mad Bee Gees fan, not just the Fever stuff but before and after that Mega period. They had around 15 US #01’s in 5 years 75-80, 8 for themselves 3 for their brother Andy and the rest for others as diverse Franki Valli and Barbara Streisand & even A Country #01. The Bee Gees stuff will...

Scandal Joffa Corfe facing child sex charges (board rules apply)

It may have been whispered to a Collingwood person at function, but it wouldn’t have been official. Remember he dumped the gold jacket at one point, maybe he was given a heads up. Either way, it’s old news now and his sentence will be how he is judged by others who put their friendship with...

Scandal Joffa Corfe facing child sex charges (board rules apply)

I’ve noticed that on what’s left of the Collingwood forums away from BF. Even the social media groups are shutting down discussions about the creep.

Analysis How different would today's AFL landscape be if the 1989 merger between Fitzroy and Footscray went ahead, and would that club have been succesful ?

True, but The AFL did not help Collingwood out in any financial way. The Collingwood supporters pulled together and got Collingwood back in the Black. Although it looked grim Collingwood was never in any real danger of folding with or without Eddie.

Analysis How different would today's AFL landscape be if the 1989 merger between Fitzroy and Footscray went ahead, and would that club have been succesful ?

If it had gone ahead I think it would have encouraged other VFL teams to have merged to possibly super clubs. North Carlton North Essendon Melbourne Tigers Richmond Saints Probably the only club that was safe would have been Collingwood, although they did offer Fitzroy a Deal, Collingwood...

Scandal Joffa Corfe facing child sex charges (board rules apply)

This new allegation doesn’t appear to be about “fame” as there’s no name or real background attached. As a 16yo boy this man couldn’t have consented to having sex with anyone over 18. That’s the law.

Dani Laidley confirms that West Coast supporters are the worst in the league

Why do you assume this has is going to happen, one must be genuinely diagnosed as Living with Gender Dysphoria before a surgeon will even see her. Just wearing a dress and make up doesn’t pass muster.

Great, pretty much married with a heap of step kids and a grandkid these days. Living almost 4 hours from Melbourne on a few acres in a small country town. Still upsetting people without even trying, but definitely older and wiser.

A few years ago i moved out into country Victoria, into a very small town where we bought my in laws property. I’m technically a local because the other half was born and bred out here. We moved out here after my step son was violently murdered in 2016 and circumstances meant we could move. The...

    Transgender

Sadly many of the current generation of Trans identifying people are self diagnosed. In others words they’re living with a form of Munchausens, or in young kids being pushed by parents it’s MUNCHAUSENS by Proxy. No surgeon anywhere will do the full gender reassignment surgery without a genuine...

Autopsy AFL 2023 Round 1 - Cats v Pies Fri March 17th 7:40pm AEDT (MCG)

This is a statement game for both clubs. If Collingwood is to go that next step this year it has to not just beat Geelong but control them. For Geelong to be considered anything more than a flash in the pan they have start this year whitewashing Collingwood. If this is a close dour struggle...

Alex is the Victim here, and he is the person people should be talking and thinking about. One thing I have noticed as this has run its course is a reluctance of the various pies forums and FB groups to allow free and open discussion about it. Time For Big Changes at Collingwood !

Well said ..... Let hope our own Journo emcgurie is reading all the boards today..... and act's like he did 10 years ago with Tony. Only difference would be Tony only ever had the Club's best interest at heart, can't say the same about "made my money" Malthouse.

The difference is JD that the AFL has more "social" influence than Banks ever did. The Banks can't hand over a Corporate box to every event at the various stadiums around the country can they ...... It's all about networking my dear boy!

    Are we really that bad.

We had Dumb and Dumber aka Ed and MM saying a Premiership was in our grasp this year. Sure we have a few players out, but we have players of the so called Caliber of Rocca, Cloke, Daisy and Fraser still and we could raise a sweat. Premiership teams cover a few players out injured......
