Yeah, maybe. Unfortunately now it's just a bunch of what ifs. not sure who you pin the loss down on but its safe to say not many of the boys willbe resting easy tonight.
That analogy doesn't come close to being valid to be honest, Mooney is a player in a team and he isn't better or worse than a player with more or less premierships on that basis, the number of premierships a coach has is a way better gauge as they are the person who instructs the team and...
Think it'd be more likely that we could rookie Davey if we cut him than O'Brien. Looking more likely we're going to sweep our 2006 Draft by this year though, what a shame.
Can someone please explain to me whether it is a minimum 3 draft picks or three list changes that need to occur? How many more people need to be delisted?
Honestly, I think their off-field drama's will be met with much less hysteria.
"Hird will be the first DRUG CHEAT brownlow medallist champion who uses a drug to help his erections!!! HAHAHA"
What such an overwhelming amount of people fail to understand (when they know it's true) is if Hird goes down, Essendon is forever tainted, that is if they're ever able to recuperate. "HAHA their greatest ever player if a *ing drug cheat". No, what we need right now is a strong and resilient Hird...
Ah I feel bad for him, I feel like he didn't even realise the racist nature of what he was saying until he said it, I mean because Goodes was able to create so much of a furore about the girl it seemed like a gentle comment about how Goodes was good at creating publicity.
This happened last year. The Melbourne match was just the kicker, a lot of our games in the lead-up were quite sloppy and we weren't looking very convincing. It's all about how we rebound from this and what happens here. I don't think I can deal with another ******* season where we look good...
Kavanagh and Merrett were not suitable replacements for Davey, but Kav was useful around the ground.
Dempsey should've been allowed to indulge in a double black or two
Not trying to be reactionary about the loss, but I definitely think this thread was started way too early. Surely we would've learned from when kelvin did it
Dropping Jetta and Merrett and subbing out Davey were the cherry on top of decisions that led to our loss tonight. Missing Stanton and Dempsey is enormous too.
I still don't get why people can't grasp the idea that they are undergoing an investigation, the media has been clutching at straws with nothing and it's all your own faults for presuming us guilty and believing all their words as fact
Who? Struggling to work out which player?
I think it's a little sad if we think about it really. All our KP's deserve to be playing in an AFL side, but they can't.
Sanchez's INT's were not entirely his fault either, and a huge bomb was ruled incomplete only just, had a bit of an unlucky game they did, but the injuries will not help as they haven't helped the Giants
Dyson's done enough I think to keep his spot this year. Hille doesn't look like he'll retire, so I think McVeigh and Slattery are the only ones set in stone really. Reimers gone too?
Hooker and Pears are players I think have a lot of upside and have had really bad patches of form, i mean Hooker was playing really well at the start of the year. Jetta/Ryder chemistry is just great.
The Dons put out a complacent effort when they really shouldn't have. But like Geelong against us last year, I don't think it would necessarily put us out of contention.
