I say well done Raiders. You guys would be bagging the shite out of them if they were not competitive. Clubs have to aspire to match the top clubs and to do that you must recruit as well as develop local talent and that is exactly what they are doing. I have no affiliation with Raiders or any...
Have been lucky enough to see this guy play a few times live and I cannot wait for him to show the people of the Border what an absolute gun he is. Got a feeling I'm gunna be watching the raiders a fair bit this season.
Isn't quick??? Turners' closing speed is as good as anyone going around. It's one thing to have pace with ball in hand but it's way more important when opposition has it or it's in dispute. In ten years nobody will be talking about Robin Nahas
Just a little bit of passion shown by supporters of both clubs, never got out of hand. Yes, some people just don't get it Bowled Shane especially ones that were not there.
So, let me get this straight. Kerang were in trouble last week for playing unqualified players then they did it again this week! Is that what happened?? Retiredtoolong this storm in a teacup now appears to be a hurricane in a thimble
Yep fair call Roota, I've been watching O and M footy this year and everyone reckons Albury are a shoe in!!! Big mistake, nobody ever won a flag in June!
Reckon your being a bit harsh. Albury totally dominated for 20 minutes and after that Yarra were competetive. I think it's more a case of the Tigers improving rather than Yarra falling away. The Albury on ball brigade is most probably one of the best ever seen in country footy and I thought...
It was a great win indeed "Bowled Shane", looked like North had their measure but the Saints never gave in and deserved the points. Murrays' leadership was outstanding. Both sides have some very exciting kids coming through, great to see
Was at Corowa as well Frank and you have sumed it up well!! Second half was slightly in Norths favour but overall they turned it over easily at critical times going into their forward half. Pressure and tackling was a feature from both sides and the future is looking rosy for both the Hoppers...
LBU 6 and 2!!!! Are they still one of the best sides in country vic outside O and m and gv?? If they are the HDFL must have improved out of sight. Does'nt pay to make big calls on practice match form!!
Was at the Albury Lavi game yesterday and witnessed a pretty good game considering the conditions. Tigers just a bit too good on the day but were probably lucky their lack of discipline did'nt cost them. Geez the big Irishman Sentanta is a very emotional man!!
Who cares?? Just win the flag in the comp your in and take it for what it is. If you seriously believe LBU are one of the best sides outside of the GV and O and M, your either incredibly one-eyed or stupid!! Sorry mate but get real!!
That is a huge call and of no significance at all!! If they are that good they should obviously go through undefeated with no side getting within 15 maybe 20 goals. You have to love country footy in April!!
Agree Fruit they were really competitive and with a little luck could have won the game. The last 15 minutes of the 2nd quarter Rovers banged on 5 in a row and it looked like it might blow out but to Norths' credit they clawed their way back in the 2nd half. Very impressed with Luke and Kris...
Rumba1 I saw the game yesterday and thought despite the margin your boys did really well. Who was number 27? He played half forward early then on ball, great skills and pace!!
I just thought they moved the ball really well with good pace and disposal. There did seem to be alot of young guys who were a little light of frame which will obviously make it difficult against some of the bigger sides but there was enough shown to suggest they will be competitive for large...
