two more things the boundary umpire in question is actually 16yo and also due to an illness forcing one boundary to pull out late of his game these three boundaries were running their second game of the day i thought that the boys on the day put in a great effort cosidering

its not a blame game but if any is to be thrown around blame falls totally on the board

totally agree the conditions didnt help but would have thought that some of the leagues board would have got of their asses and their haeds out of the trough and organised the chaos

PROBABLY out of your control but what happened today in the netball/umpires change rooms was absolutley farciacal...umpires trying to get readyfor games and members of public just coming in using the rooms/toilets..i know we are only umpires but we do need our own space..seemed every 2nd person...

Re: Round 18 i spoke to someone at macedon yesterday the ground looked magnificent and asked why they wernt hosting a final the answer i got...the cost of meeting league requirements around security fencing plus the charge from the league for hosting put the cost at around $2500 thats before...

any one what the conditions are like at the kyneton showgrounds as i believe that all woodends remaining home games are to be played there

i realise you werent having a shot...its just some players seem to stick in the head others dont...for varying reasons...meach shows great leadership,willingness to bring others into the game respect (both giving and recieving) as well as being a good bloke:D

what do i know...im only a stickwaver..but thats why this is a discussion forum..
