Despite release of damning charge details, injured Bomber Michael Hurley still has confidence in James Hird "He is a great man." #7NewsMelb"
But he wants to get out? Sure thing.
Cannot believe the amount of imbeciles prepared to pontificate on these subjects without the slightest idea of what the report contains.
It is really pathetic seeing people begging for Essendon to go down. Some of the vitriol has been nothing short of heinous.
One thing is for certain, no...
Anyone see this?

Heard the AFL's '1st offer' for Ess is no finals, Jobe loses Brownlow and no 1st rd draft pick for 3 years! Players escape. Imagine that!
That's an unequivocal embarrassment that a Fox Sports presenter would put that in the public domain. I seriously...
Hey guys, I have been contacted by a former Essendon player, who played in the 2012 season, (don't bother PMing because I'm not going to divulge the details) who agreed "100%" with Spike's sentiments and speculated it's a ploy by Reimers to keep his name in the headlines.
Watson, Goddard, Fletcher, Dempsey and Stanton are all guys that should put their names forward.
Ryder, Hurley, Crameri and Zaharakis are good enough if they stay on the park to make the 40 man squad.
Really tough to call so far out from the start of the season.

OMG! IT'S BACK ON!
It's all guess work at this stage guys. When you see a solid quote from a person connected within the club, then you can rejoice/panic/whatever.

"Garlett faces second draft snub"
There's no new quotes, just the stuff from Hird earlier in the week. Baseless article.
It's hamstring tightness. Not a big deal. They wouldn't have THAT much training left before Christmas anyway.
If it happens again next year when the real stuff starts it'll be a different story.
How can you even mention Carlton players as douches when Collingwood have a myriad of Dbags.
Swan, Cloke, Beams, H.Shaw, Didak. That's only five. Not to mention HarryO, the most self-righteous cockbag of all time.
The kid has been skinny as rake for a while now and asked to shoulder the bulk of the midfield load.
To say he's no better than Christensen is laughable. Of the guys named, only a handful are ahead of him. Trengrove has not shown anymore than Melksham to be honest, and I'd take him every day...
I was at the game when he did the hamstring, right in front of where I was actually. I didn't think there was much in it.
He was on absolute fire at the start of that season if I remember correctly too.
Not one on those players was even a first round pick. Swan and Goodes were 58 and 43 respectively. Jack was pick 57 of the rookie draft....
No-one drafts elite players, that's a wildly inaccurate thing to say, and to completely write off bringing in elite talent via trading is equally as...
The astucious nature in which Fremantle would acquire Gumbleton through less than scrupulous means may be shrewd list management from the Dockers, but Essendon should stymie their efforts if that was the avenue they wish to use.
People saying Jobe was a bad kick are incorrect. His technique was always sound he just lacked the confidence to use the ball by foot.
If there's a ball drop deficiency or another fundamental error in the kicking action of a player it's almost impossible to correct.
A late pick, around the fourth round would suffice? I think a club like Richmond or St.Kilda who could use a pinch-hitting big man should take a serious look at him.
He is not crap at all. Made the NEAFL team of the year in the ruck and looked great as almost the sixth on-baller through the middle. Linked up well, looked speedy for his size and used the ball well.
For teams looking for a versatile big man who can send time in the ruck and up forward he'd...
Not to mention Melksham and Winderlich.
Midfield wise I don't think Essendon is as badly placed as many people make out. Zaka was a huge loss this year, and Winderlich adds a rotation too. Melksham had a disappointing year progression wise but I think he can still play an integral part in our...
Essendon's hands were tied considering he's a free-agent. We were lucky to get anything for him.
For what it's worth though I agree Wellingham for #17 is excessive.
St.Kilda interested in Jacobs, Pelchan confirming they've spoken to his management but have not made contact with Port yet.
