I can't figure out how to add the Experts teams to my Supercoach league - got a couple of spots and would prefer Robbo and co in there than a couple of randoms which could skew the whole league.
If someone can help me out it would be great.
I've done Great Ocean Road Full. It was a great run, lucked out and got perfect weather, I did either 2012 or 2013, some stunning scenery takes the mind off the arduous run.
The ones I'd like to do are:
Locally - Two Bays, Puffing Billy run (not a marathon but still need to do it)
Overseas -...
Got a bit of the old runners knee which is frustrating with my next marathon - Queenstown - less than two weeks away.
Anyone got any good recovery tips? Other than laying low.
Longest run between now and the race is inly scheduled for 15kms.
And when you watch a marathon on TV it still doesn't look like they are going quick, but see them in person, or look at the splits and they are absolutely flying!!
I reckon you are doing more than enough for a 1/2 personally.
I only do 50 odd when training for a full. Anytime I ramp it up more my body breaks down on me.
Was up in Sydney for the weekend.
Brought a last minute entry to City 2 Surf.
A great run to do, Heartbreak Hill not as bad as what I'd read and been told. Nice views along the way distract from the running too.
Happy to just break the hour which I'm told is a solid time for the 14kms.
On the couple of marathons I've done I've used one gel in each.
A full gel is too much for me in one hit so I have half at around the 25km mark and the rest at about 35kms.
Has anyone done Run The Gap before?

I know a few of you have mentioned running in the Grampians but not sure if anyone has done this specifically.
I popped up to Marysville over the weekend to do the 1/2 mara trail run.
Lovely spot of the world up there and the run was a good one, heard the full is tough and they have a 50km Ultra too, not really Ultra but they call it that nonetheless.
A good one for anyone to have a crack at.
My...
I'm another who has suffered from it in the past, very annoying injury and can be quite painful, thankfully mine hasn't reappeared for a few years now.
Did a 23km trail run in Anglesea over the weekend.
Pretty unexperienced trail runner but loved it. Highly recommended to anyone.
Was part of a 4 run series, would have liked to have done all four but hadn't heard of it until a month or so ago.
