I think you'll find he's only won the radio award for the last couple of years before that it was always rex Hunt or Tim Lane. BT is entertaining on radio but TV has found him out a bit - not sure how well he really knows the players and the game

Wondering if anyone heard Grant Thomas do special comments on SEN lat night. I only heard a little bit of it but not too much because of bloody Channel Seven not showing the game live. I wasn;t sure he'd be any good but actually seemed to have some ok insight and dry humour..

Agree that Francis is a pretty good replacement but not sure the show will be as good as it was - particuarly in footy season. The chemistry between Ox and Huddo was great to listen to so let's hope they will work well together.

Just wondering what everyone thinks of Liam Pickering. I enjoy his work on SEN and he was on White Line Fever last year and is a player manager as well. Do you reckon he is any good ?

Heard him tonight on Rocket + RObbo show on SEN - thought he was sensational talking about the impact of the defeat and what he told the players. Compared it to Essendon Sheedy in 83 and his famous speech at the Grand FInal

Couldn't disagree with this any more - his call was fine - if anything Christian was the biased one barracking the Cats home. Incidently think I heard Hudson say on the Run Home say he played E Grade Amateurs with the Uni Reds

Interested in everyone's thoughts on David 'the Ox' Schwarz. I used to think he was a bit of a clown but he has actually grown on me. Enjoy him on SEN on the Run Home and works well on White Line Fever but he still changes his mind a bit too easily.

Apparently 3AW has thrashed Triple M and the ABC in the radio footy ratings today. Any thoughts ?

AW dominates footy - wins Saturday --- thrashes Triple M and ABC on Sundays SEN up in Drive (2.9 to 3.6) and Evenings (2.2 to 2.8) but Breakfast and Doran the same (2.4) and KB down (2.2 to 2.1). Will they make changes ?

Apparently most people don't agree. I'm told the replacement show with Mark Allen and Liam Pickering rated a 4.3 which is more than double the previous show and is now the highest-rating show on the station (ahead of the Run Home I think at just over 3).

ABC is definetely missing Tim. Have a listen closely to Glenn Mitchell - he is far too verbose on everything he does - it drives me crazy. Jim Maxwell is okay but not as good as he used to be.... Adelaide was hard work without Kerry although Roebuck is good and Chappell okay in small...

Easily the best footy show on T.V - actually has decent discussion Good pace - all the teams - Scwhass is far better than Russell GReene although I do miss him tipping Hawthorn no matter what. Highlight though is the Cups....last night the ANdrew McGovern Oven b/w Freo and Syd.
