Wish the kid all the best. Just not against us.
Anyway, I'm coming down on S aturday from the bush with the rest of the family. We're going to the Hawks V Tigers starting at 1.45. I'm then planning on going to the saints game @ 4.40.
Does anyone know what time the first game ends & how long...
Can anyone shed some light on the playing career of Trent Kelly, 21year old from Shepp.
He says he played juniors for Shepp Swans before moving into the one's, played for the Murray Bushrangers, trained with Collingwood before being cut down with injury, but finished playing in a grand final...

Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
I was waiting for you to pop up. Maybe Alli Brooks can teach me those tackles he used to pull on the little kids. From what I heard today he's put on enough weight to play in the front row.
Nah, seriously well done to FFC for beating us for the first...
It work's for the NTFL in Darwin, some clubs have multiple teams in one age group and none in others.
MFL netball league is similar with some clubs not filling every grade now that Under 12's have been added in between U/11's and U/13's.
We don't really have junior(school) comps stealing all our players though (I didn't even know they existed untill I was about 15). There's one in Shepp, Campaspe, Yarrawonga and I think Cobram might have something going now. So small towns like Waaia and the like dont have too many problems...
Yeah of Russell Robertson fresh out of the AFL.
37 @ 7.4 Eagle (Dees)
36 @ 7.2 Robertson (Swans)
23 @ 4.6 Whelan (Cats)
Assuming all have played all five games.
Game was nearly called off in the second quarter when Albanvale ruckmen went down and had to wait for an Ambo to drive onto the ground to get him. There was a 27 minute delay, three more minutes and the game would have been called off like the Tunga/Dookie 3rds match was on the w/e.
Undera Captain Daniel Breen is very consistant and is good all over the ground. I have only seen the Rd 4 game Vs Ardy where he was very good, but he's been in the best every game except for the wet one first up against Longy. Goes under the radar a bit I'd say, but integral part of a good team.
Yarroweyah VS Jerildrie
Strathmerton VS Wunghnu
Mathoura VS Picola United
Blighty VS Berrigan
Watched the hoppers on the weekend. Wunghnu threw everything at them and ended up a man down. Yarro weren't great but I think they can bounce back at home.
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
Correct. I was told the league then appointed an independent tribunal to make a decision. I could be wrong though, I have been left in the dark a bit. Just want to play footy, it's now been over two months since my last game at the tigers.
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
All the best to the club in question above, a fine proud club going in the right direction on the field this year. As a saints supporter, I admire the bloke in charge, excellent player, i'm sure my old man played against him few times and may have played a...
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
I know what club you're from.
The one that went all out to get me for whacking Robb the previous year, and when I wouldn't retaliate for the whole game big old captain speartackle came in and belted my little brother in the back of the head a long way...
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
Prob something to do with my history. You'd have to ask the independent tribunal that upheld the league's decision the exact reason/s. I've had no direct correspondence with anyone other than the club.
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
Well it looks like my career at my beloved home club of Nathalia is over before I even got to play a single senior game. After my registration was knocked back by the Murray League at the start of the year and an appeal costing $750. The decision stands that...
Re: KDFL - Pre-Season 2010
I know it's a bit late, "A big well done to the Longwood FNC on the weekend".
Hope it's the start of things to come, would be great to see them establish themselves as a consistant team in their new league.
Let's get some more juniors playing in the KDFL now.
I like the pies and have filled in for the 3rds and 2nds in the past. Just talkin footy mate.
I started this convo because someone said the result on the weekend was a surprise after all the talk that The U were going to be a stronger outfit this year. All you have to do is look at the players...
Re: KDFL - Pre-Season 2010
He might just really like the club and where he fits in there, if so good on him. Shouldn't matter how good or bad you are if you enjoy playing the game and who you're playing with. If this is the case, he's a lucky bloke and Stanhope are lucky to have such a talent.
Mate of mine, played with him at Undera in 2007. He was an ok two's player that year, but gave it away after that when Undera started to get stronger. He must of improved a bit if "The U" think Joel, Johnny and young J'den are going to be enough to take it up to the other sides.
Yes. Just had a reco and prob shouldn't be playing.
Wasn't at Nathalia last year and I don't condone uncalled for violence or make excuses for others. Unfortunately it's rampant through out our great game at some levels. Mostly senior football to gain an extra physical domination. My cousin...
