I honestly don't care what people post elsewhere on BigFooty. On here if it is a design reason to be mentioned then there is no issue, that is the main point of me telling to to give it a rest, and continues to be the point.
Hmm, I follow both Sydney and GWS, and I do believe I posted their...
1) Hahaha, I'm not upset at all by being called out (if that is what you call what you have said), because why would I get mad at someone that doesn't have a clue about this board and how it runs. I am only telling you to give it a rest because you have come in here all guns blazing having a go...
Give it a rest mate. This board is all about designs, not just AFL (and it doesn’t matter what the board titles are called). If the discussion includes other sports to make a point it is fair to do so, and has always been that way.
Don’t like it, then just ignore the post and move on...
As we were robbed of our rightful return to the top of the league in 2023, Wellington FC are coming to claim the cup.
And to do that, we are bringing our late 1970's look back.
Fans, you know the look, you love it, and we will taste victory in it.
The sponsor thing is really not something people would have really noticed unless they knew what had gone down in the week leading up to the game.
Right now I am not against the current designs, well the current designs without the silly fade at the bottom and the little dots around the V's...
As much as this is a good design, bringing back a design from a pretty bad era of the club (though most eras are pretty bad for the Tigs 😂😂😭😭) I don't think quite works.
Though if they were to return to it, or you could make improvements, I'd drop the design down a little on the chest to allow...
Most of the good ones are likely from Yellow Images, so it may be hard to get a freebie as most people have paid for them and either won’t pass on for free, or will follow the licensing of them and can’t share them.
So unless extremely lucky, you unfortunately may have to go down that route as...
It almost looks like three coathangers around the neck area, but then the third one is clearly missing from where the hook part is, and also from the right side out the side of the cuffs. Strange.
Looks like a white front, red backed guernsey, but with two vertical stripes that speckle fade on the inside. Swans have only ever had one design like that, though it had white cuffs instead of what looks like red.
Could we be seeing a modernised version of the 1996 preseason? Or at a stretch...
The hoops makes the most sense being the oldest design. But they have done the hoops as an anniversary before, but could be done again.
Why am I sensing a nike multi design mashup. shudders
Cannot really fault this kit. The design works, but as a test kit, it is hard to go wrong with it. Only critique would be recolouring the Asics logo to green, and removing the Alinta Energy slogan.
Another great design, good reference to the retro theme. Main critique for this one is the front...
Well done to the Harbour City Storm and Freight Train on another championship. The near impossible challenge was just too great for us this time, but on any day the result could have been different.
And well done to El_Scorcho again for running the competition, the pinacle of competitions is...
Yep no changes to any of the logos (well the Sydney teams, and South Melbourne). I'm not expecting any to change either.
I am just happy that my Sydney Olympic got in (even though I have absolutely no Greek heritage in me at all, nor live in their area). (or shouldn't we be discussing the...
I am no expert, but that looks more like an Atlantic Ocean floor. Indian Ocean ones generally have aircraft on them.
Your expidition may not have found the right items.
Oh wow that bring back some major memories for me as well. Those were the first templates that I ever designed on (actually it may have been a version before that particular one, but I used them a lot), and I had my first competitions on forums using these types of templates.
That was a couple...
