I'm not quite sure what our argument is. I'm very disappointed in BA and Ross in recent years. Maybe the Nacon acquisition was the worst thing to happen.
Ross and BA in the AFL Live 2011 and Don Bradman 14 era were amazing. Incredible public outreach. Games made by and for people who love the sport. Not perfect, but every aspect of the game was done for the right reason. Their cricket games are hanging in their but obviously their AFL games are...
Hello,
I'm hoping to come to Adelaide for our March 30 matchup on Saturday night. I have never been to AO and have zero idea about buying tickets. Ticketek and Ticketmaster has been as useful (useless) as ever and the Port Adelaide website just says that information will come soon.
If any of...
The company either grew too quickly, or got too greedy, or both. Or just complacent/lazy?
AFL Live 1 had a few bugs on release but was well-polished. They were doing play tests at JB and EB Games months before release. It was a great game and really put them on the map.
Bradman 14 had the...
Releasing the game despite it not being optimized was always going to have pros and cons. I think that they have been pretty upfront. Releasing it and being able to optimize with the help of thousands from the community was always going to yield a better product in the long run rather than...
Cricket 22 was a way better game than AFL 23. It remains a really good platform on which to build great cricket games. Unfortunately Cricket 24 built basically nothing.
Really two different issues.
I think the whole "we can't do this because of Champion Data" is a load of s**t. Do any of the US sports games suffer from these issues?
And even if this were still an issue, that is completely independent of the fact that you can barely do basic football functions like kick, handball and mark...
I think we should be honest about this because we are dealing with a very different type of issue compared with AFL 23.
AFL 23 is s**t. Utter s**t. The marketing was deceptive (e.g. Pro Team), the gameplay a huge step backwards from their 12 year older game, and the release was utterly...
I live in the States. Saw em at a festival where over the four days the headliners were:
Tool (snorefest)
Avenged Sevenfold (epic)
Kiss (epic)
Foo Fighters (really good even if not really my thing)
Always held off on this game because of the obvious issues. It's now $29 USD on PS5 and with 2.0 out and a DLC impending, I figured I'll give it a go. Going to go in with an open mind, because it should be a very cool game if the bugs are fixed.
I do most of my gaming on my Series X but...
Big Ant is a fan of throwing others under the bus for their ****ed up releases. This sounds as if it's the players/teams fault for not providing them with access for photos. And as if any player would want a game delayed for 5 months simple for more photogrammy
Played a couple of hours. Honestly felt very clunky. The graphics are definitely not Series X era compared to most of the stuff you see come out these days. The dialog is clunky, as is the classic Bethesda "stare", although I figure perhaps some folks like that style.
Combat and the AI also...
Fremantle vs Collingwood was bizarre.
I don't think their usual all white strip is perfect, but it's better.
What it should be is Collingwood in away kit + white shorts and Fremantle in all purple.
I don't give a s**t if it's your home game. If you are going to have a jersey with a...
I love the cricket games (well, 3/4) but they also are typically very sloppy on release
Don Bradman 14 - bowlers never regained fatigue so they bowled at 110 km/h after 3 overs and just got pummeled. Also issues with magnetic fielders, particularly caught and bowled.
Don Bradman 17 - just a...
