GOOD
Trengove on the ups.
Bail's hard running, kind of like what Richmond use Matty White for?
Watts as sub (This move may show he isn't a straight in every week, get a bit of heart and throw yourself around)
Stef Martin, bigger body, foot skills are good, crashes packs down forward perfect...
Better defender than scorer.
Helps out with rebounds aswell averages 7pg or something like that. Might help attract free agents with Roy Wallace and Aldridge.
Don't think Scully and co. thought that he would bring much attention to the media involving GWS. Im happy that he has decided to do talk contracts even if he does decide to leave which is sounding more unlikely we can put some games under the belt of other young midfeilders ala Tapscott...
Eventually maybe rounds 12-15 id like to see Howe Cook/Green Jurrah lineup down the Full forward line causing a three pronged attack. Could potentially be dangerous and stretch alot of teams defences. Also like to see Maric get a game on a consistent basis this year also.
Well maybe with Batum being sixth man, he could help out a little for Aldridge at PF and effectively swing from SF/PF off the bench if we dont get a decent PF in free agency.
Would help the Scorpians alot, Miller and Newton dominated the forward line for them imagine Brendan Fevola down there. If they get him i'd be happy for Casey.
Jake Spencer - Quick, versatile, strong bodied ruckman that has more potential then Sandilands.
Nathan Jones - Great kick, quick, in and under and just the next Michael Voss tbh.
Watts was 17 when he came in, no one can expect much from a young KPF in his first couple years.. although he better want to do something this year. :o
I played 16's this year with Sunbury, went through underfeated :p a teammate kicked through a grubber in the goalsquare just before the siren to get us up by around 4 points in the grand final. Now hitting up pre-season with 18's and already injuries are taking the toll. :o
Another fact is that we don't have a big strong bodied FF. Jamar's presence is good enough in itself to drag the best defender. Im not sure when he would be used at FF though i wouldn't mind him starting there maybe for the half then switch him to the ruck and sub off Campbell..
Callum Sinclair = Raw and unco.
Robbie Campbell = Matured, Premieship player.
So why are some wanting Sinclair more?
We have Max Gawn waiting in the brinks who is more co-ordinated then Sinclair, heck even Spencer is! :o
Tapscott had hip surgery hip surgery let him notch up his fitness send him to Casey 1's for a few weeks to get his confidence up again before exposing him, i wouldn't think Maric will get a game and maybe Jetta could fill the spot. Was only a simple suggestion. :o
Why is everyone judging on Cook.. He's 18 and tall forwards need around 3-4 years to develop their bodies and pick up the pace of the game ect.. Let the kid be, we were all stoked about Watts? He was that skinny when he came to play too. IMO Big strong body Full Forwards are probably gonna be on...
One way to think of it is this maybe..
HF Pettard Watts(Tall and Agile) Howe(Tall, Agile, big leap)
F Wonnaemirri(Crumber) Cook(Tall and has dukes) Jurrah(X Factor)
This is potent. How hard is it for teams to find a matchup for Jurrah?
If Howe comes along he is pretty much again like...
Good that we are going tall, Troy Davis could pretty much knock Warnock back out of contention aswell.
Tom Mcdonald looks like a long term project player like Spencer/Gawn/Fitzpatrick..
