All BigFooty Nutters,
I have come to the decision that with my studies and other interests becoming cluttered into one, I have decided to hang up my keyboard on the forum that has controlled part of my life more than any would imagine.
A heavy contributor, I have put enough of my time into...
Here are a couple big name trades...
1991 - Greg Williams of SYDNEY to CARLTON for a non-utilised pick
1993 - Nathan Buckley of BRISBANE to COLLINGWOOD for pick 12
1993 - Alistair Lynch of FITZROY to BRISBANE for pick 7
1994 - Tony Lockett of ST KILDA to SYDNEY for Robert Neil and pick 5...
EW Copeland Trophy Tarkyn Lockyer
RT Rush Trophy Heath Shaw
JJ Joyce Trophy Dane Swan
JF McHale Trophy Travis Cloke
Joseph Wren Memorial Trophy Sam Iles
Darren Millane Memorial Trophy Nick Maxwell
Harry Collier Trophy Tyson Goldsack
Gordon Coventry Trophy Anthony Rocca
Gavin Brown Award Heath...
When you celebrate a goal...it is automatic...the Port boys weren't exactly the men expected to be their in September, let alone last Saturday in September. Emotion took over, and I guess despite the cockiness of the Power, their celebrations to me were nothing but normal...however, as we saw...
i) Haydn Bunton, 1931...he also won the Brownlow in 1932, being his first two seasons in the VFL/AFL winning the Brownlow Medal.
ii) Brad Hardie, 1985...first year in VFL/AFL after a stint as a WAFL player.
iii) No Coleman Medallist has won on debut, however John Coleman (1949, 100 goals)...
How couldn't WCE accept pick 3, 21, kennedy...seriously, that is easily better than Judd...Kennedy and pick 21 could satisfy Didak almost...Kennedy will be one of the best KF in the game...pick 3 is a fair pick to have...the pick that got Chris Judd in the first place.
I am pretty certain...
Buckley won't coach...he is Garry Lyon...he is a man who wants to work in media and not spend his life in football 24 hours of the day...he enjoys working on Nova, we can all tell...he has roles on channel 9, sen and previously fox.
Licuria and Clement is enough...but I can see one of Burns and Wakelin going.
It sounds to me like Burns is and was ready to retire at the end of the season, but with the form of the season and the media's consistent opinion of willing him to keep going (like Bucks) it will have an influence...
Jolly needs to be targeted I think...he is the best available option...still young, still successful, and experienced. Hille is too experienced, and he isn't the option we need...he is bash, but no help to the midfield around him. He is half a Charman...Charman actually wins centre bounces...
I thought it was the best brownlow count in 6 yrs...channel 7 has ALWAYS been the best hosts of the count...ALWAYS.
It was ruined however with the Archer, Kouta, Roo, Hird ceremony, and then Bruce telling Jimmy he won it with two rounds to go.
Good player...who doesn't rate him...always been a classy small defender...one of the best small defenders in the last decade...he was a fantastic rebounder, who could go one better holding down a key position player.
Just letting everyone know that I am fixing the armchair guide printable version.
I have fixed before, but savefile.com has been going under changes it seems over the past month.
Will repost link at opening post and re-post later too
Did BigFooty turn homosexual overnight?
