Peter Wright contact with Harry Cunningham: Pleads Guilty and Receives 4 Week Suspension

Take them for a gym session did you?

Peter Wright contact with Harry Cunningham: Pleads Guilty and Receives 4 Week Suspension

Exactly. The problem here is club bias determining Essendon supporters' opinions.

I'm still trying to work out how Barry Hall got only 7 weeks for belting Staker.

Lockett didn't pull out when Caven was running back with the flight of the ball in 94 and it cost him 8 weeks.

Shield The Final: Western Australia vs Tasmania, The WACA, 21-25 March

Well done Western Australia, far too good. I'm shattered at how poor we were, but that doesn't detract from WA's domination from the start of the game. I hope that Tasmanian cricket can one day emulate what WA cricket is currently achieving.

It was all too hard for him to show a bit of pride and spine - Shield player of the Year or not. Same with Jewell and Wade. At the very least I expected them to come out in the second innings and make WA work for the victory.

Shield The Final: Western Australia vs Tasmania, The WACA, 21-25 March

I've followed Tasmanian cricket since before the Shield days - I go back to 71-72. This is the first time that I'm genuinely embarrassed to say I support them. As good as WA have been, we've been disgraceful.

Peter Wright contact with Harry Cunningham: Pleads Guilty and Receives 4 Week Suspension

Yes, I'm not sure how you could lay any of the responsibility for this onto the bloke who was actually going for the ball........

Peter Wright contact with Harry Cunningham: Pleads Guilty and Receives 4 Week Suspension

I'd think the lion's share of the responsibility should lie with the player not going for the ball, as opposed to the player who is.

Player who was going for the ball, gets concussed by player who wasn't going for the ball. Wright's gone. Or he should be.

    Tas Tasmanian Election 2024

Too late. Those who are trying to derail the stadium, and possibly the team as a result, have already made Tassie a laughing stock. As a proud Tasmanian living afar, it's truly embarrassing to see. I'd really hoped that after all these years the state had made it into the 21st century.

    Tas AFL team potential membership

There are a LOT of Tasmanian expats on the Australian mainland, that doesn't surprise me to be honest. And when I say four memberships, they are all supporter type memberships these days, I can't afford 4 full memberships. :)

Shield The Final: Western Australia vs Tasmania, The WACA, 21-25 March

It goes back prior to the 80s. Gary Sobers played for SA in the early 60s for instance. Victoria is the only state that hasn't had an international import play for them to the best of my knowledge.

    Swans have ten premierships

It's how recording the history of sporting leagues or competitions works though. Achievements from back in the day still count, and are given equal weighting, despite the nature or quality of the competition changing. It's why Test cricket records go back to 1877. Or Wimbledon records back to...

    Swans have ten premierships

Ideally, a club should recognize all flags it has won - across all competitions. But if it chooses not to, or chooses to give different flags different weightings, that's fine too. It's the club's history, it can record it however it sees fit. A competition/league should be recognizing all...
