Why are you comparing Rawlings to O'Brien, Goldsack & Toovey? They play completely different roles to Rawlings.
MM has showed a relunctance to play taggers. You need to get over your "woe is me" North mentality.
I doubt it. Mick doesn't really play "taggers" as such.
I couldn't see him getting a gig in our backline also. Our HB line is the most attacking one in the AFL & is a major weapon. Rawlings would be a downgrade.
You've plucked out a general quote from the Psuedo Intellectual & believe it holds more credence than a coach directly sounding out a player/s noted for their footspeed. Delusion.
Ross Lyon, who knows better than you & I, didn't look at the 09' GF & conclude, how do we address the weakness of our game & conclude, we have to kick straighter. He concluded by a number of public comments & a direct recruiting push for Andrew Lovett & Brett Peake, that footspeed cost you the flag.
Go & put Stanley in the guts.
The fact remains, your lack of foot speed has cost you 2 premierships. Once play spreads, Saint Kilda are easy to counter.
You do realize that if Collingwood didn't play 14 games at the MCG last year that the MCC had the power/rights to move the Fremantle/Hawthorn final to the MCG?
Saint Kilda's biggest issue is a lack of bonafide foot speed. Only Geary has foot speed waiting in the wings, the rest of their "back ups" have got questionable ability to tranfer the ball with pace.
Once play spreads, Saint Kilda are pretty much cactus.
Maybe not. I didn't really feel part of the premiership, did I play? No. Each to their own. Each supporter has an emotional investment depending on how much passion they show towards the club.
If they feel part of the flag then I won't begrudge them that.
You aren't in a position to judge...
Rape is a terrible thing.
If players were found guilty, I'd be mortified. At this stage, those involved should be granted the normal course of innocance before/if proved otherwise.
The sad thing is that Caro is using the rape of an innocent woment to push an agenda towards the CFC, McGuire &...
Scotty Clayton was talking about Travis.
It's correct, Josh was our uncontracted player. He said GC though could take a 2nd uncontracted player if Collingwood agreed to it, i.e. a hypothetical about Travis.
