Would love to see Meek and Pencil really stamp themselves on the game and make an impact. Both should be part of our plans moving forward.
Hope the team has a good hard crack and, one way or the other, can walk off the ground with heads held high tomorrow.
Of course, a win would be nice too…
It will certainly be interesting to see how different the outcome is. We may still have a long journey in front of us to be consistently competitive but, baring a heap of injuries prior to the opening bounce, we should have much better connection through the midfield and a wider spread of more...
My favourite recent Hawk to watch going for contested grabs was Lake. His ability to read the flight, position himself with strength and subtly keep his opponent out of the contest while he took a casual mark was without peer. Loved it.
Just going throw my support behind DGB too. Loved his...
I would still have him and the first player picked if he said he wanted to play. No idea how fit he is but on one leg he would instil fear and kick a couple.
Hopefully Watson can live up to his own expectations of himself. I’m sure if he does that, we’ll have a player on our hands.
Not to derail the thread but The Pot is possible the greatest tool song ever. And I say that as a long time tool fan.
EDIT: in case you're wondering, I was not born in '95.
Of all the names mentioned this trade period, Ginnivan is the one I’m least interested in. This includes D’Ambrosio who I had never heard of previously.
Squiggle had Brisbane top of its power rankings before this game. I knows they dont play the MCG well but that was a great win and we are now rated as part of the midfield gaggle rather than sitting in the bottom three with North and West Coast.
