I said on the freo board a week or two ago that this will be my last season. I'm addicted to the internet and this forum doesn't help. I have s**t to do, yo.
Nah, * him. I've got friends who have mental health problems and they don't use it as a license to be a dickhead. At some point he has to take responsibility for his choices.
If he's over his depression and well enough to play, then he's well enough to have the piss taken out of him like the rest if us. Welcome back to being normal.
Thanks, dude. I'm a bit jack of the AFL and the palaver with COLA, MRP, umpiring, etc that's just destroyed my love of the game, so I'm recalibrating my priorities and footy needs to take up less frontal lobe real estate. My custom will be no great loss I'm sure. If we get close to a granny...
Is that due to father/son? I don't mind that so much. Anyway, I've pretty much decided that whatever happens this season, I'm giving up following footy. You've got three more weeks of me, Fremantle.
I never gave a s**t about COLA until the weekend, after watching the COLA pull a couple of goals out of his arse that knocked the stuffing out of us. What bastardry.
Yep. We were outclassed. There's only so much a blue collar team can do. I want a freakin' flag and I want one while we have the midfield that we do. Clark at the Dees looked like a trier and if he comes into the side, I'm sure he'll make up for being a dickwad by busting a nut to get to play...
I said recently that I don't want the campaigner but after the weekend, I'm gonna do a 180 and say recruit the motherlover, stat! We need more swagger and more players who want to impose themselves on the game and we need forwards who can do this. If Clark can be gotten for the right price, do it.
Don't Port pump canned applause through their PA? I don't think it's 50k they have at AO, it's about the 5k who used to show up when they were s**t and the rest are the cardboard cutouts they used to fill the stands that weren't covered over.
If you have a smart phone or tablet, you can subscribe to watch games via the AFL app. I do this with my iPhone, which I then use to send signals to my apple TV box thingy that is hooked up to the flatscreen. The picture quality isn't amazeballs but it's watchable.
Yep. Cats to win, leaving the Hawks to have to play next week. Anything to run the Hawks ragged before we meet them is good. Cats pose less of a threat to us.
That's right. All we've lost is Johnson. Sydney will test us with their brigade of talls but they have to get it into their forward fifty more than us to beat us.
On SEN the other day they were saying how while our average scores for have gone up, so have our average scores against. The stats they rattled off suggested that we had tweaked the game plan to be more attacking, which you don't really need to look at the stats to figure out. It's a direct...
What gives me confidence is that over the last month we've gotten to within a kick of beating all the other top five sides, bar Sydney, who we're lining up this weekend. That's great form line.
