Good to see Ross making some good decisions with ball. Balta was huge. F50 structure still a bit of a work in progress, but cotch in there less helped. Was Mansell hurt? D50 working well but Tyler and HRS gave GWS more opps. They cut us thru the midfield a bit. Dusty a bit fumbly. and i know...
Hearing the comments and dialogue they might receive after they have played a season is of far more concern. Which is why players (and family members likely as well) are well versed in keeping out of social media.
Anyway i'd be more concerned if i didn't see the "dud delist" at least a dozen times.
More relevant is how much WC are prepared to pay. They have to pay a minimum of the TPP, and maybe it suits them to pay overs for Broad for a couple of years.
With the 200 game milestone this weekend, Nick needs to get a bit more love. He’s been a very important cog in the team thru the premiership years. I hope the tiges can get up for the win like what was done for Prestia.
Certainly didn’t play his best yesterday.
The back line in general hasn’t been functioning that well this year anyway. There doesn’t seem to be the chemistry happening with Tarrant in there. Vloss not playing yesterday also had a big impact. I wouldn’t be surprised if Grimes got caught in...
Fly was a great asset to the Tiges while he was with us. I’m not surprised to see how he has performed at your club. With him there i might even develop a soft spot for your club.
Might…
Maybe….
We’ll see.
Tho it’d happen before those Salty Cats.
Liked he was giving everyone the high 5’s as they were running thru the race at the start of the game. Has confidence. Its not that it seems “he feels he belongs”, more that he makes it that he belongs.
He just went about his business in a no fuss way. Hard as a cats head. Sacrificed himself to protect others. Should be revered as a great Richmond captain.
One of the most amazing speeches. Such a humble guy who has given his all. Shows great strength in bearing his weaknesses. I have utmost respect for him and wish him all the best.
If the general consensus that “the process” for looking after players is better now, implies that there was negligence before (thats from a legal viewpoint)
the only ones guaranteed to win out of this are the lawyers.
i carry my share of ongoing pain issues, but seems like nothing compared with...
Hes got the advantage of having a few extra years of experience and maturity, although footy wasnt his first priority when younger. But he adjusted to the speed pretty quickly.
i think we have our small backs covered for a whiles yet. Defenders that can handle tall forwards is a different story.
Ive got another idea. As soon as a team takes a mark, the whole opposition team needs to put their hands on their knees, whilst the rest of the team who took the mark get 3 seconds head start in going where ever they want. That’ll increase scoring as well.
Nank can't play the whole season like he has. I think as soon as CJ has served his time, i'm expecting that he will be given a run. But who will come out? CJ surely only be brought in as a support ruck role.
