Who would be the most underrated players in each side? The Dustin Fletchers who turn up every week and do there job without getting too much recognition
Article in todays Guardian confirmed those two and also that not too many players had left. What's their line up gonna look like this year? O'Toole can slot pretty much anywhere
Wrong! If you had of won that game you would have ended the year on 4 and a hal;f wins instead of 3 and a half therefore taking you above Carlton who finished the year on 4 wins. Richmond played the day before Carlton but would have known Carlton weren't going to win with all that was on offer...
With finals approaching the final 4 are set with only 2nd and 3rd to come down to the wire in the last 2 rounds. Who are everyone's thoughts on the following regarding players-
Most Improved:
Most Consistent:
Best Recruit:
Most Courageous:
Rising Star:
Draws are apart of footy. It what makes the games interesting. If you can't win after 4 quarters of footy why should you get a chance to get a win in extra time. And what about St. Kilda fans hey, since Round 17 last year they have had a draw with Hawthorn, 4 point win over Geelong, drawn Grand...
Haven't heard anything from then and I also know that Ultima played Woomelang on the weekend but haven't heard anything from that game either. Wandella played Sea Lake and got a report in The Northern Times here...
With this new sub rule how will it affect "games played" for example Heath Scotland is set to play game 200 tomorrow night. If he was named as a sub but was not activated does that mean he is still on 199 or does it count as a game even though he didn't actually go on the field
We are now less than 2 weeks away from Round 1 so plenty of clubs would have had at least 1 hit out I presume. Who's looking good for all the clubs and have played well. Who's not doing so well regarding forms or unfortunate injuries?

Re: GRFL Part 3
Yes that would also put a hole in Ultimas side but they still have Angus Delmenico, Ryan Standering, Jeremy Grant, Ben Buxton, Jayden Kiel and Luke Kelson who, when you add an extra year of experience, will provide a lot more than what they have considering their young age. I'm...
Re: GRFL Part 3
Who have been Ultima's recruits so far and who have they lost. I don't think they will be that far off from what they were this year. If they can keep the majority of their key young players with an extra year put into them then as a core group you never know
Re: GRFL Part 3
Any word on the coaching gig at Ultima. Apparantly it has been known for quite some time that Mahon was not going to be playing or coaching in 2011 so I owuld have thought they would be straight onto the ball with recruiting a replacement. Or perhaps they will just upgrade an...
Yes I have noticed he has been very consistent in the games I have watched this year. Probably nothing flashy enough to get votes but does get the job done and that's all you can ask. Tom Isma has been a good recruit too I have thought
Quambatook and Ultima are seperated by a measly .42% on 4th and 5th spots respectively. With both having a bye to go it will come right down to the wire and every game is a crunch game from now on with Murrabit also in danger if they happen to lose to Ultima in the last round. I think it is...
Another nailbiter between Ultima and Quambatook again, this time Ultima getting up by 2 points. Was a very entertaining game with Ultima having a great 3rd quarter but Quambatook storming home in the last to just fall short. Looks to be an interesting finals race. At this point in the season...
Was not a long way off the ball as it had just been a ball up in the center. The player who was hit had had the ball, gave it off and received a late hit from Ben. Tempers rose and the two players scuffled a bit then and a punch was thrown which nobody would condone or expect. That is how I saw...
With Ultima getting so many new young recruits I would have thought it would be harder, not easier for certain players to get up there as they have a more even spread
After 6 rounds in the GRFL who has surprised, who has met expectations and who is underwhelming so far. We are a third of the way into the season now with 2 teams undefeated. Quambatook are one of those teams but are yet to have played Wandella or Nullawil who are most likely the teams to finish...
Ben Carter does the previews but I am not sure if he also does the reviews. He might but I don't have a Monday or Wednesday Guardian in front of me to check
I see where you are coming from, he has seen a fair few names from one club and presumed that. Some names that come to mind are Brad Fitzgerald and Shane Fleming who he just said "players from Tooleybuc/Manangatang and Nyah." Write up in todays paper wasn't very good either just the basic run...
Fair point. But I was at the game on the weekend and I may be mistaken but I'm sure I saw all 4 of them playing in the seniors. Again I may be wrong but I am fairly certain of who they are
