With Ross Lyon a former midfield coach at the Swans, you would think St. Kilda would be the front runners to aquire him.

Hint: Getting the ball is only one facet of the game.He certainly is a ball magnet. His stats seem OK, but the Sydney supporters seem to not hold him in such great regard. This makes me a little sus.
Why are Sydney letting him go?

If the saints landed any of Bolton, Scneider or Buchanon i would be over the moon. All very good players and premiership players. They are all hard to so it would free Dal and Bally up to be more outside players and they can get the hard ball with Hayes.
Amon would be my preference then Jude then Schneider. No to Tim Schmidt.

agree with what ur sayin about bolton. we don't need another in and under, and the pace of the other 2 would be better. whats the deal with Tim Schmidt in regards to pace and disposal, haven't seen much of him. if my memory serves correct (think it was schmidt) thou he is a bit of a ball magnet - had 61 touches in the twos. then again they are the NSW two's which isn't the most level comp. no disrespect
I would prefer Buchanon to Schneider, but heard that Buchanon will be at the Dees by the end of the week
Schenider on the other hand is 23, a pacy half-forward with good skills and knows how to kick a goal. The perfect sort of player for us.
Anyway, I'm sure RL knows what he is doing when it comes to the Swans players.
This is what may happen: Pick 9 for Schneider with Swans giving us their later first round pick in return. There are 7 standouts in the draft then the next 20 or so are even. Look for us to have 2 picks inside the first round trading away a player and our 3rd round pick for another first rounder. If the 'Schneider for a player direct swap' rumour is correct who would be on the table???
Milne? L.Fisher? X.Clarke?
I much prefer Schneider over Bolton (for the same reasons already posted). I also believe that we need to hold onto pick 9 at all costs.
If we can end up with a trading/drafting period like this, I reckon we'll be wrapped.
Trade L.Fisher for Schneider
Trade 3rd pick for Steven King
Draft David Myers/Cyril Rioli/Alex Rance @ #9
Draft Best young ruckman available @ #26
Draft best available quick midfielder with pick 4.
That would fill a few holes very nicely!
