That was the incident that sent the Pie fans over the top last night, bloke going for the ball is lined up by a bloke from behind and taken out. If you have played metro or country footy you know who easy it is to do.

Notting has only ever taken people out from behind and was at it again last night. If Byron Pickett did that we would not see him again this year, I want Notting rubbed out for 12 weeks, he is damn lucky that Carracella is not in a wheel chair and it is time the AFL sent out the message that players owe a duty of care to the bloke with his head over the ball.

As for Umpire Allen, you should never umpire again if that is your definition of a legal bump.

Should be sent strainght to the tribunnal, for the maximum penalty. He lined Carra up and had no eyes for the ball.

OK Cambell, you get on the ground and I will run full tilt into your head/neck.

You are not allowed to do it, it is that simple and he will go, but then again Lynch got off for breaking a guys face so who knows when it comes to the AFL assisted Brions.

Notting was going for the ball as well.Thats what you do in footy, go for the ball, make a hard contest of the play.

Yuo collingwood supporters are real sooks.Although you have a great role model in Licuria and malthouse, the bigest sooks ever.

Haven't seen exactly what he has done to get suspended because I have only seen the replays from a distance. Did he hit him whilst running into him or what?

The way Caracella was in will add to the weeks, but for rough play, i'd say 2-3 max, but then again, haven't seen the replays as much as most here, so yeah.

Well then STFU!

Geez.

Yes, it looked bad, and certainly didn't seem to be his intent, so I can understand some concern, but for someone to have not even seen it clearly to be persecuting him is just rubbish.

Lots of Collingwood trolls out and about this morning.

You would think they would actually watch their team play, beofre mouthing off.

Sheeps the lot of them.

Get the sh(t out of your eyes, its clouding your judgement.

Morgoth ease up on the emotions bud. It was not malicious at all, maybe a bit reckless but would be suprised if he got reported.

It should have been a free kick though which is why the majority of the crowd went off their tree. I've never seen a crowd go crazy as much as that.

Allen should be dropped back down to the VFl for that disgraceful decision.

Nah, I go for Collingwood but I don't go to the football.

******!
You may go to Collingwood matches but obviously like 99% of the Nufflligs know very little about football as evidenced by the fact you have O'Bree in your best five. Give me a break you disease riddled rectal dwelling worm and go occupy a hole that provides you with warmth, comfort and nourishment.

They have done it time and again, Lynch and Notting both love to hit from behind, this a hole has a history of doing it and if you watch you will see he does not even look at the ball. One guy was making the play and is entitled to be protected, Notting was going the man and now he has to pay the price.

Surprised if he goes. He went down for the ball and won it. Hits happen in footy. Maybe reckless, certainly not intentional or malicious.

Where are all these hits that Notting does. Can you name even 3 where he has been reported?

Finally a non-biased comment from a Collingwood supporter after reading some emotional rubbish. He was going in hard for the football, bit reckless. There should of been a free kick payed but a report it should not be. But who knows with the AFL tribunal system these days.

When was the last time Notting was reported or suspended?

Always bad when a player goes down injured, but making Notting into a villan, come on now. Hard fair hit, Blake unfortunately got crunched.

Unfortunate, but nothing in it.

Gothy his hip hit him in the head. And the ball spilled out in front of Blake. Notting went down for the ball and collected him. It was a bit crude but not malicious. Any player would have done the same thing. It was definately a free kick though as it was high contact and that was the injustice of it. It wasn't from behind either, it was in front. Just saying ease up a bit and stop giving everyone ammo to bag us all the time.

He may be reported for reckless and rough play but I would doubt it.

Old mav and if Picket had done it?

I would say the exact same thing, he was going in hard for the ball a bit reckless but the ball was there to be won. Thats what I like about Picket, he plays tough and if there is a hard ball to be won he will go in for it.

But if it was Picket the tribunal would treat it differntly because the fact Picket has been up in the past for reckless play. That is how the AFL tribunal seems to work nowadays, looking on past visits.
