No, I am saying that Coleman's are not the be all and end all of FF quality. Lynch was not a Coleman medalist, but Brisbane didn't need him to be. Lots of goal kickers. He did his job for Brisbane as well as or better than Lloyd did for Essendon, and has the medals to prove it.

Okay. So how many AA's did Lynch win as a FF?
That position is awarded to the best FF in the league in any given season.

So when was Lynch voted as the best FF in any particular season, let alone better than Lloyd?

Lynch for sure, because he didn't play for free kicks he actually went for the ball first - then the man second.
On his day, he is 300% better than Lloyd and he didn't have to throw grass in the air and wind up for 30 minutes before kicking a goal either.

Its not over for Lloyd yet, he is a gun FF, a star and he has a chance of being remembered as a champion if he can recall his youthful excellence.

I guess he will be remembered as a somewhat ditzy crack FF. There's a bit of immature resentment against him apparently because he's popular with teenage sheilas. Has he got girl germs or something?

Lynch was a massive power forward, a key ingredient to his sides success and they haven't been able to fill his shoes. He gave his hearts blood to play top level footy: the way he went out of the game showed how much his struggle with CFS took out of him emotionally

Rather unfairly he will be remembered as 'that psycho bloke at Brisbane with yuppie flu, wasn't there something about steroids?" . I feel people are already writing him out of Brisbane's history, they way they rabbit on about J Brown as if he won them 3 flags. Lynch was the Brisbane forward line.

I feel neither player deserves the jibes thrown at them, but in terms of how history views them, Lloyd will be seen as a top dumb footballer, and Lynch as a narky medical case.
