Cheers, BD, I am Nick's drafted buddy for 2007, and will see what I can add to the excellent summary (and Macca's 2007 review).

Like many posters I look forward to his contribution in season 2008. One of our exciting rookie players and IMHO has the potential to be next season's Napoleon....

Turning it on for Norwood this year. His disposal has improved out of sight,big body, he wins the hard ball and he has a midfield's engine...oh what we need right now.

He will get picked up again this year by someone and will prove us (me included) all wrong.

Never should've been delisted let alone been replaced by the putrid recycled garbage that fills our list from arsehole to breakfast time now. If he Michael Barlow's it on the Gold Coast we should rehire Williams and sack him again.

Since everyone else is looking to get themselves on to the Barlodsiadly diet, now that traditional feeding grounds are being raided, even if the club wanted to draft Lower again, there will probably be competition.

My favourite footballer down at the Parade. Absolute gun. He's got every attribute to succeed as an AFL footballer, if he doesn't get re-drafted I'll be shocked. Been totally dominant for Norwood this year, a credit to him because he signed on for a LOT less than he was offered from rival clubs. Got pegged as a medium defender for Port when he clearly does his best work in the midfield as a tough, inside mid who excels at winning the clearances at stoppages.

I think getting rid of Lower and Giles may have been a tad premature and when we picked up Harding I scratched my head. I would prefer Lower to Logan on our list! There will forever be need for bigger bodied midfielders in the AFL, Lower, Thomas, Logan, Kane, Davenport... If Kane walks and I could see Logan getting arsed by a new coach, Lower would/should be on our radar! His dispasal was poor, he got dropped and has worked hard on the area he needed to, I don't regret the club dropping him as last year, with his skill set, he was not capable of AFL football, however now, I hope he gets a second chance. Also see Giles!

I also think we got rid of Lower too soon, he was a bit of a clanger king, but he never got a chance to settle into the squad. Id prefer him on the list to Nash or Matt Westhoff.
