I was at a PAFC function on the weekend where the players were coaching young kids in skills.
Marlon was part of a group of players looking after a group of little kids and footies were going everywhere. Krak ran out to retrieve one and threw it back towards Marlon but it should have missed him by a metre. However Marlon just lazily stretched out and it appeared in his outstretched hand. Moved like a cat, all economy and grace. Very impressive, I'm looking forward to the Family Day game to see him in action.

He played in an SANFL trial game on the weekend which is thought to be an indication he's not in line for selection for Thursday night.

Whats the latest on Marlon? I thought he had impressed well preseason, but havent heard anything the last cpl weeks about him.

Played reserves for North in round 1 and went alright IIRC. North had the bye in round 2.

Great to see Marlon named (debut?) for the North seniors on Saturday in the forward pocket against WWT.

Anyone got any news on where Marlon's at? I didn't hear of any injury news that kept him out of the squad at the weekend and it's a bit worrying that in his 3rd year he's not making a below-full-strength NAB cup squad (especially when other youngsters played and played well).

he sustained a fracture (stress) I believe in his foot about 5 weeks ago? Not sure if he's back in full training.
