Eventually, I can see him being forced out of the team purely as other players catch him and then overtake him.

Agree completely. Carrazzo played some awesome games through the year shutting down his player and getting plenty of the ball. His disposal in not great but the blues have a lot of players with average disposal. Apparently Ratts was getting stuck into Wayne Hughes about not drafting any player that can't kick.

Yeh alot of people look at his game against Monfries and say it cost us, one bad game shouldn't determine a season. Him finishing 4th in our b'n'f just shows how high the coaching panel rate him.. biggest problem with him is he needs to know his limitations and not kick it 50 metres to the opponent, and give it off to better kicks or stay with the short passes.

But as the OP points out - the MC obviously rate him with another good B&F finish, so the question is where not will. You may be right about 2010+

Re: Where will Andrew Carrazzo play next year?
He's better than scotland IMO, not the worst thing in the world if we have a player of his caliber coming off the bench and playing midfeild.
What is the story with Johnson from melbourne, will he be better than carrazo etc??

Re: Where will Andrew Carrazzo play next year?
I think he could be useful in our midfield as one of the in-and-under guys who dishes it off. It has been said but his kicking and decision making are below average, so it's not really ideal having him coming out of the backline and having any hand in setting up players. However, with his fitness, strength, ball-finding ability and defensive mindset he could be handy being rotated through the middle. Just so he's the one dishing it off, not Gibbs or Judd, who should really be the ones on the receiving end with their quality disposal.

I guess we will just agree to disagree - the stats don't really split them

Re: Where will Andrew Carrazzo play next year?
If Carrot is so crap (in a few supporters eyes) how come he won a B and F and finished in the top 5 again this year ?
He is the most underrated player at our club by a street (not only by the media, but by the fans as well)
His disposal has improved a lot since he first came to the club, and he is a ball magnet, he'll still be around at the club for a few more years yet.

Agreed, but don't put him up forward, and I'd like him down back as least as possible. There's a grammatical mistake with that sentence isn't there? lol

He'll be in a remake of the hit Adam Sandler comedy, The Waterboy? That's a bit left field.
Forward/Midfield rotation is easily the way to go. I actually enjoyed most of his work in defence this year, but I think he'd be more damaging kicking goals then stopping them. o.O

Although the kindest thing would have been to put him down at half-time during THAT Essendon game.
