Say what you want about the bloke but he was a very good footballer. Won the 73 GF for Glenelg with a spectacular mark and goal in the dying minutes of what is without doubt one of the greatest AFL/VFL/SANFL grand finals ever. 2 time AA.

Was a pretty good as a coach too. Won back to back SANFL flags when the comp was at its strongest followed by 3 GF appearances in the next 4 years. Did a pretty good job with the crows inaugural team. Nearly made a GF in the 3rd year.

And whilst he might be on his 3rd marriage, he's got one who is 22 years younger than him and he's an ugly prick so he is going ok there. Plus he's kept her for 15+ years. Hope i can still pull them that young when i am his age.

Inferior comp! Don't care what you say. Came over to North Melbourne and only lasted a fortnight because he couldn't handle it. He may have been a star in the SANFL but at VFL level he was only going to be an average player.
