Re: What exactly is Matthew Primus's job at the Power??
So then why have a crack at us being "exclusive" rather than "inclusive"?
And how is that comparison irrelevant, when you have yourself compared us being "exclusive " to Port being "inclusive.
What would you have them do?

Re: What exactly is Matthew Primus's job at the Power??
WTF? I haven't made the comparisons you're referring to?
My original point was simply to clarify that the tingles didn't just 'come up with $20mil' to spend on the facility - it was a clarification regarding the funds. You're the one running off on irrelevant tangents and making comparisons.

Port's after match events are not held at Alberton as of 2009. I'm not sure how many go, I've never counted when I've gone, but the comparison is not what the debate is about. Either way - our platinum members are not charged to attend.

No, athough you joined in the debate after this point.VVVVVVVVV

If they really were serious about it they could have been uncompromising and proudly expanded the shed to inclusively include MORE fans and spend the remaining money on a revamped training facility.....This is the inclusive Team for All South Australian's we are talking about here isn't it?

This was the issue I was referring to, you made the point that Port Platinum members do not have to pay.
You went off on the "debt" tangent.

Yeah what a total loser! What kind of moron would sacrifice his own dignity to make his daughter happy? Sure, he might be a fantastic dad, but now he's got people on the internet laughing at him.
Grade A tool.

I mean, sure - be a good dad and do shit for/with the kids etc, but no need to be published

I agree with everything you say here, but why did the Advertiser put it in their paper. IIRC the article did not promote the concert, the school was not mentioned at all. Nor was his daughter identified Which makes sense because I am sure Brogan does not want Dale Mortimer-like wankers knowing where his daughter is. I am sure there are plenty of footballers/public people who do similar things, yet the media are not called.
It was a puff piece to soften Brogan's image? And to promote the club as a "family club"? The club and Brogan using his daughter's concert to promote themselves. The Power have been on the media offensive this off season. It seems anytime a Power player or official breaks wind the media is alerted.
PS I kinda feel sorry for the other dads

Re: What exactly is Matthew Primus's job at the Power??
Hmmm, stuggling to remember exactly when the news article was, but i'm guessing slow news day and a funny photo would be enough to get that in the paper.
Puff piece to soften Brogan's image sounds about right. Good to see good media management, which we've sorely, sorely lacked since Hitaf Rasheed moved on.

I guess using an unrelated kids concert to promote the club does sound a bit like the child labour ways of the Power's marketing department .

Re: What exactly is Matthew Primus's job at the Power??
I want to be the first to congratulate Matthew Primus on becoming the Power's fourth coach.
He is well deserving of the job given his expertise in developing some of the best current SANFL Ruckman in Lobbe, Giles and Cockshell. A well deserved appointment.
May his tenure at Port be a long one.
Three cheers for Matty Primus.
This is good news for Matthew Westhoff as a job has just opened up to hold the magnet board at quarter time breaks. Given his inability to play footy he may be looking for a job soon.
