1996 was a Quasi - evolutionary scenario to suit the mindset of the masses at the time. Marketing is rarely about change, it is about connecting the mindset of the masses at that point in time.

In 2001, the centenary of Australian federation was widely promoted as the birth of a nation, however, this is certainly not the case.
