They're now the home and away champions.

Just like the Camry Crows they will fail to make it to the grand final.

They're peaking too soon and they haven't really settled their best 22 early enough.

St Kilda last year was good enough to convert a top of the ladder finish into a grand final appearance.

Like the Crows the Magpies will be beaten in the first week of finals by the 4th placed team.

You have the worst system for developing talent the AFL has ever seen, you got 6 great players back in the early 2000s and have taken nothing since except a rapist and a bloke who will go running home to QLD come the end of the year..

Good call.
With no injuries to speak of (minus Dick), of course the 22 will have changes here and there with the luxury of being able to accommodate horses for courses. As much as I hate the 'wood, you can't falter the season they have had so far. They deserve top spot, and will definately do some damage in the finals.
Have been very few slip ups, and the core team looks pretty settled to me. I mean for your captain to only get 4 touches and you to still win by 98 against anyone speaks volumes.

15.10 they scored against St Kilda.

14.23 kicked against Geelong is just alarming. If they kicked a bit straighter they would've flogged them.

I'm not packing it in just yet but I can see how you Geelong supporters are running scared.
