Hanging out on the wing by himself hoping for the easy possession. Time and time again when the real stuff was on he was wondering away waiting for the give.

Sure he might have ended up get a decent superteam score but lets face it, against half decent opposition this guy is going to be a major worry.

Bagging Thomas for his performance against the tiges when he was BOG (imo). Also - criticising his third quarter especially, when i think he was one of the few that stood up in that quarter

anyways im not the only one that thinks that.. read the responses they're a classic

Wow, him and Swan were EASILY best on ground. Some people are too cowardly to admit they were wrong in their opinions of him a few years ago and, as a result, you still have some morons around that deny Thomas's talent.

Good work Daisy! You're making Hawthorn supporters cry ("Why couldn't Thomas slip to pick three? Now we're stuck with Xavier Ellis! WAAH WAAH WAAH!")!:D:thumbsu:

The problem with Swan is he is obbsessed about winning a brownlow medal. He aint really a team player. He wants a brownlow. He believed the media hype that Swan would win the brownlow last year. When he didn't he looked like a baby that just had its dummy taken away from it. For Swan to be rated anywhere near the likes of Judd and Ablett he will need to become a team player. You people need to sit down and watch Judd and Ablett in action, study the way they play without being biased or jelous. You would then find that both them players are a class above Swan.

Sorry for the delayed announcement.

I haven't felt like coming back to this thread since didaka's untimely passing. Was a shock, as I'm sure it was to everybody.

It's nearly May though and time I got off my ass.

Thanks to everybody for keeping the nominations coming for March. Nominations will close soon and I'll open the voting.

Now, for the preseason months.

It really was a taste of things to come. Best start to the Winty yet. Special mentions go to Davo23 of Hawthorn, rating some bloke over Thomas. I think he goes by the name Ellis. Anyone heard of him?? And another Hawthorn man, Riolo Magic for calling our premiership the softest in history. Hey... we can't choose our opponents mate. We just demolish them. The way the Cats did - "119".
Remember that. THAT was the softest premiership in recent history. (Note: I don't necessarily believe that... just trying to lure Winty back and get him nominated for his own award).

On that, has anyone noticed that Winty is one of the more insightful contributers since he got owned in that thread all those years ago?

Anyways why am I rambling? The Winty nomination for the Pre-Season goes to Lavender Bushrange, of Adelaide. With his ridicolous claim that Maxwell hurt Saints feelings by "saying" they will go backwards. Not only is his logic faulty in deducing that that is what Maxwell said, I can't understand why that would even warrant an apology. Firstly, he's been proven right so far :D . Secondly, Saints are big boys. Maybe you should try being one too and not get so offended over nothing.

So, here's your Winty. I've sent him a message to present him the award. Let's see if he shows up to make an acceptance speech :D

Lavendar Bushranger has just exploded out of the blocks / blown everyone away in the first quarter, it's hard to see anyone getting close.
