I know it's really too early and that there will be at least 2 dozen identical threads before Rnd 1 next year, but with our season shot months ago I was wondering where other supporters would be happy to finish next year.

Of course we can't yet take into account retirements, delistings, trades or rookies but with a sense of level headed optimism I would be happy with a 10-12th finish with 7-8 wins. With these wins ideally I'd like to see some new Tigers, to be bred Tigers and to be bred tough and to a sizable have impact throughout the season.

I don't think 9th will hurt quite as much on the way up as it does on the way down

Or when you're in one of those revolving elevators... something which Collingwood may find themselves facing next year, along with North Melbourne.

2009 Minor Premiers like port hey lol I would like to think we can make the finals 4 out of the 5 or better.

i say 7-8 because you said 'hope' so that is about as much as i can bring myself to hope for. realistically all i really want to see is a cohesive tough competitive unit that shows a huge desire to win. the amount of wins/losses next year i dont see as hugely important, they will take care of themselves as the team improves the team aspects.
