Yeah humble fella.
I didn't think he was that good a footballer to be honest. (wrong of me).
Was he a crows rookie?

Congratulations to Paul Thomas
Yes he was a Crows rookie in the same year as Mattner, Bock and Rutten. Was struggling and played reserves most of that year.

Re: OT: Paul Thomas wins the Magarey Medal
Well done Thommo!!!!!!
Great lad, always willing to have a chat.
Finally we win one again.
And Matty Slade runner-up. Well done too.
Bad luck to Colville, probably deserves a Magarey at some point.
Pity I didn't get to see it - I guess WIN TV's programmers in Woolongong don't realise that the Riverland is in South Australia and the Magarey Medal is one of the most legendary and prestigious awards out.

Re: OT: Paul Thomas wins the Magarey Medal
Congrats to young Paul, a worthy winner. I thought he handled himself brilliantly afterwards.
I remember seeing him for the Crows in a trial at the Parade and was really impressed with his hardness and work ethic. May be worth a late pick in the draft.
Commiserations to the Eagles Gaivn Colville who has come back from his knee reconstruction brilliantly. The guy is a a great leader and one of the best players our Club has had. I thought the second year Squire won that Colville was unlucky and I am hoping he can win one eventually
More importantly, the Premiership is within our grasp. Central are yet to beat us this year and hopefully that continues. Should be a ripper on Sunday.

NO !....need a couple more to ease the pain of the last 40 years
need 5 to go past those pansy Bays and be equal with South and Torrens.
Then we'll regroup and work on reeling in the others !

Re: OT: Paul Thomas wins the Magarey Medal
Come on Craigie give the lad a go on the crows list, surly he can be better than a few on baller that are on the list now.
Is his best position playing on the half back flank, would he be a good tagger in the AFL?
once again well done to the 5th winner of the Magarey Medal from the dogs
