One of our historic strips. I would even accept our original 1885 jumper which is blue.
I am a traditionalist. I don't want to see garbage like the eagles 'ochre' jumper.
Personally I would like to see the club dig their heels in and say no and see what happens.

Yeh I see your point. Dont think we've ever had a clash with any team, until their is a problem with us individually I dont think an alternate strip is in need.

It's certainly my favourite, it keeps our traditional club colours and design and we won't feel silling singing "YELLOW AND BLACK" after all those games we win (maybe) if we're wearing some other colours.

The one proviso on this strip, no yellow socks, either keep the usual or all black, dont want us looking like the Freo dudes when they where that all white. LMAO, how ridiculous is that?

I just hope they don't let some marketing clown get their hands on it or we are going to end up with something that, to quote Tom Hafey, "dead set looks like it was designed by Sportsgirl" (a reference to the now defunct 'Allies' guernsey).
I'd also like the AFL to list which clashes it must be worn in (beforehand). I'd be very surprised if every single club has legitimate clashes. Sure there is the old Collingwood/North one but I am viewing this whole exercise very sceptically.

relax guys for those who are members, you should have got the newsletter in which it says they will come up with a heap of designs put them on the website for then all rfc members can vote on what we think looks best

The guy has a chance to look like a statesman or look like a quisling. His job is to put the RFC first and to hell with what the AFL and marketing graduates think.

Well if Richmond members are anything like Essendon and Collingwood members then we'll also lose money from people boycotting 'clash' games. Go take a peek on one of their boards. It is not quite so simple as clash strip = more money.
Like I said all along, I can tolerate one of out historic strips (we actually have quite a few). I don't want one that is designed by some dweeb straight out of marketing school. Think of how bad it would be if we get something like Freo or Port's design.
I'm also cynical about whether there actually is a clash.
