Funny thing is we probably have not played our best yet, I don't think once this year that we have probably had all 22 players go at 100%. That is kind of scary since we are sitting 3rd ....

Sadly I haven't had a chance to see the swans this year but i always find out the finer details from my mum. I rang her before and she was very excited.

I promised myself that I wouldn't live and breathe this season and I would cut down the swearing and generally keep my emotions in check after winning the premiership last year.
And although it was hard at the start (that first quarter in round one was tough) it really hasn't been that hard. I wasn't really gutted when Bruce kicked that winning goal or when the saints held out. I guess i felt like a lot of people here - deep down inside the boys were always going to turn their season around near finals time.
Now that I'm overseas, swearing at the streaming live audio just isnt as fun. Fingers crossed come grand final day i'll be sitting down near the tv at the crack of dawn, wofting down my 4th or 5th beer and having a complete mental breakdown. Or I might head down to Earls Court or some Walkabout pub and make an arse of myself
And I'll be spewing if we don't get there..

Minkus swan if we make the GF then my brother will come over from Berlin and we'll be meeting up with friends to go to the walkabout to watch the GF. You HAVE to come; another swannies fan will be great.

of course it is. We have followed them our whole lives and we saw our first flag last year. We have to watch it together this year as well. Its just a shame we can't be there.
i'm quietly confident about this year too and i'm just watching it all unfold while other supporters get cocky - best to keep a lid on it at the moment
we've still got plenty of room for improvement and still have davis to slot in there - i'll back roos in his methods and i have no doubt that our boys will be ready for any challenge come september

shouldn't put your hopes too high. Even though, almost everything seems similar as last year, at the end of the day, it's always different. But who wouldn't mind Swans winning back to back?? hehe...
hoping for b2b premierships and I can safely say that we are in a much better position then port were at this time last year. maybe we can go the way of the lions I hope. it is possible.
I am feeling alot better than I was about our chances. We have not been playing that well but have been winning again. Easy ride into the finals, although I do think Geelong will be tough at home, we could be in a prime position for another assualt.
My mate who sits next to me was in London last year during the GF, he went to one of the Walkabouts and had a ball.

At this stage i'm just worried about beating Geelong this weekend.
I am quietly confident in some aspects, in others not so much. I'm definately worried about coming up againest Adelaide in the finals.. but i'd be thrilled playing the Eagles or Saints.. and then the others teams don't really concern me at this stage.

Yup, they'll definately go there and know how crucial the win is.. i think we should be alright.
Hopefully Nick Davis will be back!

I'm probably more nervous this week because we could lose our top 4 position.
