Our half back flanker needs to be renamed.

Not me!

The other one.

The Spornstar!

He is Blues2001 in the program, so I assume he has to stay that way. I'll name him as Blues2001 unless otherwise noted.

What an incredible half back line, even if I do say so myself.

We must have team unity.

PC28 and Stucey, you will both get many chances during the season. You should be honoured to be part of this great club, we only chose the best. :)

Best of the Rest perhaps

Razors by 38 points in a canter.

There is no way TT will be able to keep me quiet.

Good win to the Dark ones. We fought hard in the second and third, got a commanding lead in the final stanza, and took our foot off the pedal. In the end, they had a sniff, but were never gonna get home against the 2002 premiers.

Good win, you merly won by 6 points you ego sniffing person.

2002 premiers, i think the razors have shown enough that we will challenge you.

Thats what we expect to see every week. The Razors should consider themselves lucky that we didn't wake up until half way through the match. I'd like to give a big pat on the back to all of our players. The captain led the way brilliantly with 20 possessions and 4 goals. GOALden Hawk was prolific on his wing. Hilly was dominant in the ruck, i could go on all day....

Well done guys, the premiership is a mere formality.

"Aww look. You gotta be happy with a win like that. Coach and goliath full forward Chris23 bagged 6.7 - should have been more but he had a slow pre-season. With my 4 goals and dominance in the midfield, in tandem with the classy RF#1 and workhorse GOALden Hawk, as well as the solid defence which CJH, Elt, and Porthos provided, we really showed some intestinal fortitude out there tonight.

We were always going to win. You could see their heads drop when we took the lead, and we just toyed with them at the end - their late charge was a non-factor.

Looking forward to next week, when another four points will be in Dark hands."

How about that magical DE half back line? What a unit!

The Shadows' half forwards dominated proceedings, with 30 marks and much creative handball to set up goals.

But the Razors got only one goal and no drive from their half forward line, all due to the great work of the half back brigade from Dark Park.

Move over McKenna - Jakovich - Worsfold.

Danny Chook Fan Club - Porthos - Spornstar is the half back line of the century.

I was looking at the score fluctuation graph (NO I'm not posting it on the web every week, its hard enough putting up the stuff I do!) and what happened was :

Razors took DE entirely by surprise very early on, skipping to an early lead. perhaps they came out hard, perhaps DE took some time to settle into a decent rhythm, whatever, there was a 'few' goal lead almost from the start.

From then on, both teams scored at a basically equal rate, all through the match, except for a patch from half-way through 3rd to early in final quarter, when Razors had the only flat spot that either team had for the whole game.

So when it comes to analysis, either Razors needed a breather from the pace at that time, while DE did not, or DE's defence put in extra yards at that time, and set up the win.
