Hey guys.

I heard a bit about a young guy last year called Andrew Browne. Apparently he was ready to go before injuring himself again and not being called up to the seniors later in the year.

Just interested to know how he's going this pre-season. Do you think he'll be a permanent fixture in your team this year? Is he having a good pre-season?

Re: Andrew Browne.

if this is for your supercoach hold of i think, if he gets a couple games well worth buying then before price rise, ball magnet when playing.

Re: Andrew Browne.

Saw him about a month ago at training and he was on crutches. So I think he wont be on the playing field for some time...

Re: Andrew Browne.

I got him last year after solid preseason form, but regretted it when he was injured once again. The guy is a superb player though. Give him a go, but don't rely on him and if he goes well then he'll be one of the guys that make you a winner.

Re: All 2007 dream team questions here please (or else!!).

I really think Drum is a good pick up for any dream team, Harvey obviously rates him playing him in his first game charge. He played outstanding in defence on Sunday getting what was it? 22 disposals?

Drum would be a good pick up if he gets some game time. I'd expect him to be quite cheap, plus he's versatile so he has a lot of DT potential. Only problem is whether he can cement a spot in the 22.

I'll be waiting to see whether he is getting a game regularly before i take the risk though (possible round 3 selection).

Re: All 2008 dream team questions here please (or else!!).

With Johnson and Mundy earmarked to play up the ground this year that certainly opens up a spot for Drum at half back.

This wasn't about Dream Team, just interested to know about the lad! But thanks guys.

Dissappointing to hear he got injured again. Hopefully he can stay injury free and have a good year.

Byron Schammer!!

Is he showing signs that he could rekindle some of his 2006 form? Is he the favourite to lift a level now with the absence of haselby? The injuries the kid had last year it was a fair effort for him to get back and play a few games on the track.

Is he looking fitter and stronger over this preseason as now should be the time in his career that he would want to be looking at cementing a spot in your midfield, not the bench.

More importantly does Harvey rate the kid, we all know that harvey loves tough nuts and to me schammer is as tough as they come it just seems that he seems to lack in confidence at times. And finally what would you rate as the biggest feature/asset of his style of game, i.e. Skills, tackling, fitness etc etc.

Thanks for reading

Schammer last week was looking a bit rusty. He hasn't played a lot of football over the past couple of years and it really showed in his decision making. He had a couple of big brain farts last week which resulted in him looking like a complete goose. I imagine Harvey will play him in all four practice matches to try and iron that out of him.

Re: All 2008 dream team questions here please (or else!!).

Just a question about Daniel Gilmore.

Was impressed with him in the second half last season, and was wondering what the collective wisdom was on how he is looking thus far ... and where he will be likely to fit into the side - in the ruck or in the midfield (especially given poor Haselby is injured).

Thanks so much

Gilmore has a lot of fans around here, but I wouldn't pick him in my dreamteam. He doesn't have a natural position so will have to play really well during the pre-season to play round one.

Hey guys, just wanting your thoughts on mundy's role this year and wether or not he'll improve on his 69 average of last year?

He will be used as a utility or off half back, very versatile and can pick up a lot of possesions. Will cameo in the ruck from time to time.

He'll play up the ground more so he should score more points this year. Will kick more goals too.

I am torn over Gilmore. If he plays through the middle he will smash his average from last year and be a steal in the ruck. But there is a chance he will not even play round 1. Could be a handy R2 trade if he cuts up the first 2 rounds.
