The one thing I'd say there is that might be a little unbalancing to play a side that qualifies for the Eliminator despite being entered after round 1 - it would have all the early improvers and none of the duds. Especially since the seeding would most likely put those teams up against the highly-ranked teams in the top 10000 or so.

Actually for those that start off a little slow say middle of the pack its not a bad thing

It means that all the good teams get knocked out early

Yep, they screwed up by opening the site so late, I guess they would have expected to get 200,000 people at least had they opened earlier and then they wouldn't have this issue.

But isn't it the first 131K or so? There were 137K registered before round 1.

There were heasp of teams that scored 0, hence not completed so dont count.
