The season cannot end quickly enough for these two sides, with both being well out of contention early on. Both will be hoping to end their year with a win and gain some impetus going into the 2008 season.
The Bombers put on a spirited display against the Hawks last week, and will be hoping to continue that form this week. Champion forward High Ryder again showed why he's one of the premier players in the competition with a 7 goal haul last week, and a similar performance in this game will go a long way to getting the 4 points for BF. For the wooden spoon winning Roys, they will be needing an improved effort across the ground to have a hope here. They rely on the same players week in week out to do the job, and if those players are shut out, they have no one to fill the void. Their forward line was abysmal against the Gumbies, and they cannot continue to rely on the evergreen Fred to carry them each week.
The Bombers did not get the W last week, but are having a real go at the moment, and for that reason, I expect them to come out winners against a dispirited Roys outfit.
Teams to be in by 9PM Friday.
