Got 0 Trades Left- Post your Final Team

Just pulled the pin, and used my last trades. This is what it looks like

Backline
H.Shaw, D.Milburn , B.Goddard, C.Cornes, Mcleod, P.Burgoyne, J.King
Myers, SDT

Hm pretty disapointed with the fianl backline. Gave up really on them. Should have all consistant 70+ scores when Burgs, King, and Mcleod get back, which is good enough for me with the back disaster that has been 2008

Centres: Swan, Bartel, Cross, Stanton, Priddis, Stevens
Browne, Ward

Fairly happy with how the midfield ended up. The only question mark was stanton, but his 178 shut me up pretty quick. Quite a few solid captain choices there aswell. Can average 100+

Rucks: Cox, Simmonds
West, J.Tippet

Cox is an absoulte freak, and i regret not having him since round 1. Simmonds seems as a good enough second ruck, who scores well


Forwards: Didak, Franklin, Pavlich, Chapman, Riewoldt, J.Brown, B.Johnson
Valenti, J.Morton

I am rapt with how my forward line ended up. Worst forward is Brad Johnson, and he averages around 90. All of them can get 90's and 100's, and there are good solid captain choices here aswell

Your season is over happy.
It has been an exceptionally hard year with regard to injuries/trades.
However, there is no way you should have used all your trades already.

For anyone just learning DT, the recommendation is to save about 5 trades for finals. I had 6 going into finals last year and this just about did me (I won my league).

But, as said, this year has been very difficult.
FYI, I have 4 left now with a complete team and a decent emg list.
However, the last week or so has been an absolute nightmare as Myers, Ablett, Porps, Kennelly, JonoBrown and Burgoyne have all experienced some degree of injury.

What happens if you lose in the first week of finals? You have 4-5 trades sitting there for nothing.

2-3 trades for finals is enough, 4 at a maximum. Your team should be set by then anyway, which means that these trades should only be for injuries/form issues.

Hurt by injuries and now no trades left

Sitting 400 odd DT with pretty good team but no trades is going to hurt me also....

On top of league comfortably so well just sit back and see what pans out....

Trouble is my Yahoo DT is coming 15th and has been doing well all year but now just sitting back and watching the likes of Monty leap frog me.....Ahh well looking forward to next year.

Haha, just saw this. Thanks mate! I've still got 3 trades left too. Trying not to burn one on Palmer -> Goodwin this week.

Unfortunately neither you or I have a chance any more because chookadelic, an EDTer, has just taken the lead and he's got a solid team.

I saved 3 trades for finals last year and it wasn't enough to even cover my midfield--Kerr, Bartel, Carazzo. It was a nightmare.
