Hello.

As we know, it is common for people to fly from Australia to the United Kingdom and vice versa. I figured it would be interesting to make a topic about it.

Any interesting stories? Was your journey(s) enjoyable? Was it Hell in the skies? Who did you fly with? Is direct the way to go or is spending a night in the Asian stop over the best way? Any airline you would recommend flying with or not flying with (I'm not planning on going any time soon but we may as well turn this into a mildly decent topic for such information)?

Done it heaps having an English mum and a British Passport.

British Airways: Flew with them in the mid 90's slept most of the flight and cant remember much and these were the days when they didnt have the TV screens in the back of the seats (though I flew United to the USA last year and they didnt either, but were great on the booze).

Singapore Airlines: Flew business (about 3 years ago) so it was always going to be more comfortable, service wasnt great but sat next to a pretty damn hot woman on the leg to Singapore and we had a 7 hour delay so we went and hit the town. Good times!!

Qantas: Sat in Economy wasnt too bad and the air hostesses were actually really personable and drank a few on the flight right up the back of the plane (747) so good flight.

I have to travel OS heaps with work and I never really seem to have anything exciting happening on my flights bar an Engine blowing up on touchdown in Auckland and watching blokes get blind in the Qantas club before a flight (sometimes i join in:thumbsu:).
