Rate Dale Thomas..

I think he is very overrated. Rated only a month by Mark Robinson and Mark Sheehan as a big chance for the AA HFF position.

I am so sick of Collingwood supporters raving on how good he is when his best and flashy qtrs in games each week are when Collingwood are well down. You only have to look at last week. In the first qtr when the pies got smashed, he had 11 touches. He was ok all together in the first half but the pies were still well held. Then when Collingwood very close in the second half, he went totally missing.

He could be something but at the moment he still has more ground to make up than Buddy does with his goal kicking. When will the day come when Magpie fans hit earth and realize he is nowhere near the player he is made out to be?

Well then your options are wrong. Because I can't think my own view of him is over or underrated, I would obviously believe I rate him accordingly.

If you mean how I rate the general perception of him, then I'll reiterate my first point - on Bigfooty he is underrated, because every week there are threads about what a dud he is, when in reality he's progressing just as well as any other forward-flank player his age, in some cases better. And given that Bigfooty is probably a good sample population of football fans, I'd say the general public underrates him. But with the media, he is overrated, as they hype him up to be a superstar, when he only has superstar potential.

At the moment, he is definitely overrated, but he is a spark player though in this stage of his career.

No doubt in the future, he will be a 20 possie 1.5 goal a game footballer.
