Official Match Thread Round 5: Southern Dragons v AFL All Stars

Going to be tough, 0-4 is a poor start to the season and we can't afford too many more losses before finals start to become out of reach. Defence needs to step up and tighten the screws. We're giving away too many goals and we just can't cope with that at the moment.

The opposite needs to happen up forward, we need to start kicking goals. Our inaccuracy is absolutely killing us, we could be 2-2 if it weren't for our poor kicking.

Need a big, big effort this week, must win game and it's only round five.

Couple more changes. Coin_Toss gets a crack at full-back, SA Hawkette moves up to the Half Forward Flank after a good performance against the Mod Squad and Kahuna is in the back pocket.

A must win game here, 0-5 would pretty much put finals out of our reach so early into the year. Just need to convert our opportunities when we can. We are so close to winning, just need to put it together.

Bugger

Damn, though it was going to get ugly there but we did well to come back but we're still short of what we need.

Inaccuracy still killing us although we sharpened out our goal kicking after quarter time. Workload was shared today with a host of players having decent games, unfortunatrly we are still off the pace and 0-5 is going to be pretty hard to come back from.

Will change things around for next week again and see if we can get the right set-up.

Not good. Should have beaten these guys.
Need to reward those who are still putting in the effort in these more difficult times.

On a personal note, I finished just short of the 30 possies I wanted and only got 2 of the 4 goals I wanted. Need to lift next week!

The sim hates us
