Re: 2008 WSOP Europe

2nd hand back

Hand #70 - Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu has the button in Seat 2. Ivan Demidov opens the pot with a raise to 52,000. Negreanu makes the call from the button and both blinds fold, sending the action heads up to the flop: {2-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}.

Alekhin leads out with a 100,000 bet on the flop, after which Daniel quickly raises to 200,000. Alekhin makes an immediate call, bringing us to the turn: {9-Clubs}.

Alekhin then checks to Kid Poker, who leads out with a hefty 280,000 bet. After a long dwell in the tank, Alekhin folds and Negreanu rakes in his biggest pot of the day thus far.

Re: 2008 WSOP Europe

This is a sensational stream R+B:thumbsu:

LOL at the Gold comment.

"Negreanu is now the 2nd highest earner in world poker, ahead of Hachem and just behind Gold, though given that Negreanu has kept that matter, I would say he is the leader...

Re: 2008 WSOP Europe

Check this out.

Ivan Demidov is currently 2nd in chips at the WSOPE final table.

And he's going into the WSOP final table in November 2nd in chips.

Is that sick or what?

He could win USD $11 million in quick time

Re: 2008 WSOP Europe

the WSOP final table is November 9-10.

possible 11 big ones for Demidov in the space of just 5 weeks (1.3m guaranteed for 5th and 9th respectively)!

Sonnert will have to make a move soon. just lost a decent pot to juanda.

i was aware of the chess player they mentioned

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Alekhine

i'm sure there is no relation.

Re: 2008 WSOP Europe

did you see that hand? demidov QQ v sonnert A7dd aipf. Bang on the turn!

Negreanu is the short stack.
