State of Origin SoO Round 1: Allies vs Western Australia @ The 'Gabba

This game looks like it will be a cracker of a match when looking at the teamsheets. WA are clearly the most talented team in regards to the quality of players on their list and will defnitely be a force in this competition. The Allies, however, will be no easy-beats. They have a history of being very succesful in these competitions and will definitely not go down withought a fight.

The Allies team is made up from players from a variety of different areas but that does not make them any less of a tight unit than the other states. PHX and sasaugeroll will lead a team which will be hungry to show the other states that they will not roll over. And why would they with the quality of players in their squad. The two captains of the squad lead a high class midfield which boasts players of very, very high calibre. diablo14 and TFLUA Tiger will be looking to have big games in order to give their forwards first use of the ball. Their forward and backlines are also massive forces to be reckoned with. Key forwards, Eggman and The Old Dark Navy's will be very hard to beat and if the ball hits the ground in the forward line smalls such as ssfc0203 and Magpie_girl13 will be looking to capitalise. The defence of the Allies holds arguably the best defender in the league in G.F.C. and he leads a defence which will be hard to beat.

The WA boys, lead by boncer34 and Ljp86 are a team absolutely full of stars. The Allies will have a very tough time containing the likes of Big Man and Wally in the midfield, while the WA forwards will be ure to kick a bag if not closely followed by their Allie opponents. YOTC and Quinzate1 are names that would make ny defender quake in their boots and when the Allie defenders hear of the midfield quality that will be delivering the ball to these man, they will surely be shitting themselves.
