State of Origin SOO Round 2: Western Australia vs South Australia @ Subiaco

Lets get back into things with round 2 of the SoO, with Western Australia playing host to the boys from the South.

Round one brought victory to the Sandgropers, easily accounting for the Allies by 53 points. Boncer was a star in the ruck for WA, but it was relatively unknown player estibator, a late inclusion for Big Man, who took the limelight. His 24 possessions and 5 goals were pivotal for the Sandgropers, but in a strange move retired shortly after the game.

South Australia also had a win; they accounted for their opponents in Victoria by 41 points. It was a team effort by the South Aussies, with no-one really standing out, although loopy_cam and portentous chimed in for 3 goals each. Also, expect a great tussle in the ruck, with boncer and crazy big al looking to continue their good form from the first game.

Game will be simmed once both teams have been submitted

Should be smooth enough, Gropers just don't lose SoO.

WA to keep on winning in SoO: Peterss

Sandgropers midfielder Peterss has today made a statement at the WA press conference at Subiaco this afternoon stating that his side will dominate against what Peterss described as the "inbreds" from South Australia.

"Us Gropers absolutely love SoO and our record of late in this competion speak for itself we all lift and havent bene beaten for some time and i can see this continuing against the Inbreds from South Australia....They call themselves a state? We are by far the better state to live in and have the better players and this game will prove it"
