High possession winning midfielder who has good disposal by foot. Possesses a great speed-endurance combination (2.96sec for 20m and 14.3 beep test). Played at VFL reserves level on two occasions throughout the year.

Bryn is a strong bodied 19 year old midfielder. Really exciting prospect. He has a big motor and a nice long kick. His shorter disposal is a bit dodgey. Another player I feel Amos will enjoy coaching. He reminds me a bit of Nathan Jones, who was also very impressive at TAC cup level.

2009 will be purely development based for Bryn. He will be working on his disposal I would imagine. He can sometimes get a little bit lost during games. That being said he has played VFL reserves and knows what is required. He has shown great motivation after missing last year. Could easily have gone missing, but didn't.

Please excuse a(nother) Bomber dropping in, but I'm a big fan of Bryn's footy.

Very underrated player who I couldn't understand not getting a guernsey in Vic Country's squad. Huge ball winner, I think he will develop to AFL level. In my opinion it's a pity for Bryn he ended up at Geelong when they have such a magnificent list of midfielders, but at least he has a chance.

Don't dismiss this kid as a man-child, he could be an AFL gun. Also I don't quite get the "get a bit lost" comment, I think he's the mark of consistency and hard work - makes far more contests than the average player and uses the pill with excellent efficiency.

I suspect Bryn will really stamp himself on the game in the second half of the year. He is still recovering from injury that will see him back either next week or the week after.

i thought he was injured? well anyway his in adelaide at the moment, not sure why or how long for though

Bryn is still trying to find his feet I feel. Has struggled to make any waves yet in the VFL.

Today he was very quite.

yeh rizzo from what iv heard hes doing alright, apparently had close to 30 touches last week against port melb and heard around today that he had about 20 touches.. so not overally struggling

Pretty sure he kicked a couple of goals on his first VFL outing too, didn't he?

I know that he is a solid build lad, but I could not help feeling that he is carrying a few spare kilos as I watched him today.

could not agree more! i said that in the vfl report he just doesnt look fit enough

How has old Bryn been playing in the VFL?

Do you think he looks up to it to make AFL level in years to come?
