Spirited Ruler ran like the dud he is.
Launceston
Race 5 - Coalmine Creek (2-11-5) - Lay Play Time Lady

It was beaten out the start by the 5 (who won). Driver had a real chance to get it one out which you would think he would do with the lack of sprint lane, but he kept the trail and never got into it.

Danger Mouse...I have already stated the times that both Lanercost (1.57.1) and Melpark (1.55.6) ran on Friday night over the same distance. How can you still state that Lanercost ran faster time? You're not making any sense.
In regards to comparing them...when at full fitness a 2yo like Lanercost wouldn't get near a horse like Melpark. You can't honestly say that at this present time Lanercost could sit 3 wide the trip and get done by a bee's dick in a Miracle Mile nor lead all the way in Australian record time in a Victoria Cup? Or is it simply that you hadn't realised Melpark Major is the best horse in Australia when fully fit because as previously stated you don't watch Victorian harness racing?
I'm not doubting that the 2yo C&G Breeders Crown will go interstate this year (or to NZ), but comparing Lanercost to Melpark is ludicrous.

Be happy he can race in restricted 2 year races or else he'd be embarassing your older horses.

LOL. Lanercost went 1.57 over the mile. Melpark has went 1.55 not only over the mile but over 2500 (Vic Cup)
There is more than the last 400m DM.

Looks like your onto something Danger Mouse!
Hope you can stand the test of time. The Italian tower has, and that can't even stand up straight. So you'd think standing the test of time should be easy!

Re: Harness Racing 2009
lol, putting a bit on ski skipper for sentimental value. I was in the process of putting $10 ew on him during a drunken night at the pub about 2 months ago, but ended up being seconds late putting it through before the cutoff. He ended up winning at 70-1....was shattered.

Yes, you were right DM. Oi you was the right horse to be on, especially tonight at Sheparton at $19.50. Too bad you tipped Thepowerof healing.

Going great guns!!
Huge profit Danger Mouse. Betfair, even bigger!
Just watching Newcastle. I don't really see the 9 leading so early that often. Nice!
