:D

Very true haha.

Jason Alexander was on some show the other week. He was saying how he had braces on his teeth for like 9 years, it was terrible. Then when he finally got them off, he went bald. He made that show, well Jason and Larry David. Jerry is great too though.

As is mentioned in the notes accompanying the video, just replace 'phone machine' with Myspace, Facebook etc.

Spot on if you ask me.

The imbecile who ever told Seinfeld he was funny has the equivalent sense and understanding of comedy. Comedians say funny things. Comedians don't give a running commentary on the minutiae of the lives of people who are as dull as they are.

Edit: Nothing personal PP.

The good thing is that Seinfeld has no trouble poking fun at himself in that right throughout the 9 seasons of Seinfeld the other characters regularly ridicule his observational humour as though it is not legitimate comedy. No offense taken skilts. :thumbsu: People seem to either love or hate Jerry.

I was never a huge fan of Seinfeld's stand up routines, he was only a moderately funny stand up at best.

However you can't deny the brilliance of his sitcom and he played a significant part in that as both a writer and performer. He wasn't the funniest character in that show, that was either George or Kramer, but he was the glue that held the show together and allowed the other characters to bounce off him.

Co-sign. I doubt there will ever be a comedy that comes close to seinfeld.

He was the star/writer in one of the most popular sitcoms ever which lasted 9 years and left fans just wanting more.

Now a list your life achievements:
- lose virginity
- 9-5 job
- house
- car
- mortgage

People underestimate the contribution that Seinfeld made to the show. He, along with David, came up with most of the ideas. Jerry wrote most of his own material. Without Jerry there would have been no Seinfeld.

100% correct Larry was George. And you only need to watch one Epp of Curb to realise that

All of which says more about the taste of the majority of humanity, and specifically yours, than it does about the quality of the so-called comedy. The mere idea of a situation comedy is obscene in itself. They are still using the laugh tracks recorded during Milton Berle's show, in 1954.

You do realize that Seinfeld didn't have a laugh track, but an actual studio audience.

I see more Jerry in Larry than I do George.
That's because Jerry and Larry share that style of comedy, which is the reason they worked together so successfully in the first place. Also many of George's traits (paranoia etc) come from a young Larry, before he was rich and had a wife. In curb he presents himself as a bit more relaxed and fun, like Jerry.
are you prettyyyy prettyyyy pretttyyyyy sure?

If you don't like Seinfeld, Two and a Half Men must make you want to kill yourself.

George is Larry David, Larry was unemployed and living with his parents long into his Adult life, exactly like George, Jerry gets approached to make a show he makes it with George. Also Larry David has said that George is based on him.
