This will be an absolute cracker!
Gumbies come slightly down on momentum, after 2 straight losses heading into the finals.
The Bombers on the other hand come off a hard fought 14 point victory over the Demons.
Big game for myself, making my return back to posting on Bigfooty. Another player to watch will be Ninty. Showed class last week, and he will look to inspire his team.
The Gumbies didn't work to hard last week in their loss to the Furies so should be fresh coming into the Semi: Gumbies by 4 in a thriller.

Hmm the bombers got very lucky against us last week and went down to the Roys the week before, on the other hand the Gumbies have lost their past 2. I just thank god that Okeyjoke and Pacetaker are not playing.

Huge game this one! The winner gets a week off and a home grand final whilst the loser has to back up next week and only be on game away from elimination.
The Bombers are a quality side and have class all over the field so we will have to be at our best for this one.
I expect a team performance and everyone putting their body on the line to get the job done! This is it Gumbies. After two shock losses to end the H&A season, it's time to send another shot over the bow of every other finalist and remind everyone of how we ended up minor premiers.
I've been having extra goal-kicking sessions on the track this week after being wayward recently, and hopefully I'll kick 7 or 8 straight on the weekend.
We need to use the support of the 499,999 screaming Gumbies fans who will be packed in like sardines at the House of Gumby to get away to a big start and run away with a win.

Been a disappointing few weeks, but thats to be expected after clinching top spot so far out, hard to get up for matches when they are meaningless. BUT NOT NOW...so Gumbies rally around, lets put these mugs away

Got lucky? We knew we had the game wrapped up about 5 minutes into the last and took the foot off the pedal. No need for any risks.
By the way, we will destroy the Gumbies. They are no match for us. Let's remain as the most dominant club in the competition and win our third premiership.
The last two weeks haven't been the ideal lead up to the finals, but from a strategic standpoint it could work in our favour as it now lulls the opposition teams into a false sense of security, and as soon as they lower their guard we'll strike. 
But even so, we can't afford to treat the Bombers lightly as now is when the real stuff begins.
Let's fire up Gumbies and cement our spot in the GF with a solid victory!

Well here it is Bombers what you could call the New Season, the part of the season everbody want's to be involved in and hope to reach the end and claim premiership glory.
Coming off fantastic form in recent weeks I see us poised to take this one out but by no stretch of the imagination am I taking credit away from the Gumbies they are a class outfit.
I think both teams deserve to be here and fighting it out but I only hope one wins so CARN THE DAD'S.

Big game this. Gumbies will come out firing after losing their last 2 but i think Bagdhad will have to much run in them and get over the line by 17.

Nice...I get to shut down the Bomber forward line, a position I have definately come to prefer

Yep i prefer you on the HBF to in a bit of an attacking role.
And i kept Ninty at CHB as he has a great game last week when he started there and SD has been decent at CHF.
Cmon bombers , let's show the gumbies how much we want this.
Lets be honest here, the Gumbies have all the pressure on them, they are right, we got lucky last week, been in terrible form, its their home game, they finished higher

The Gumbies have wanked off the MOTR all through the year but the fact is despite a great ability to win big games during the year when it comes to the pointy end the Gumbies haven't really ever done anything. Meanwhile the Bombers have a great record and look set to continue winning every 2nd premiership.

Now is the time to muster up as much as we can, a win now will put us in prime seat to make and win the GF. It's been a rollercoaster season for us Bombers, with SR leaving as well as most of our players.
We have managed to regroup now which is testament to the team, but it will all be for nothing if we don't give the finals a fair shake. Let's do it for SR, and all our retired teammates.
