Captain again, 2 years consecutive. Once again it is an honour to be captain.

In making my push for selection, I've had a look at the stats. Compared to the other fast bowlers named, I have a superior average and economy rate. Although I was a couple of wickets behing meg, this is due to Meg playing an extra game.
I've also batted more with an almost identical average to Meg, who would have to be second in line.
Give me a gig!

As Allies captain I would just like to congratulate Hoggy on his selection for the AB side, it is not only an honour for him but for the whole club.
The players take great pride in his selection & we wish him the best of luck, he really did come into his own during the second half of the season where he bowled with courage & skill.
It furthur justifies my decision to award him the vice captaincy of the Allies one day side for the forthcoming season.
Hoggy we salute you.
