Finally... The moment we have all been waiting for... The kick off to one of the most highly anticipated seasons in recent memory... The Roys and the Furies kicking off their seasons... :thumbsu:
I am almost as excited as Reardo in a strip joint, or CTR in a brothel... Or TheCuzEffect in a room full of trannies... :D

After a solid preseason where the Roys have been able to slot back into a drinking routine, but as usual, not take this pre season stuff too seriously, the Roys have had some solid contributors. Mobbs has been his usual dominant self, while sblack, Reardo, royboy, Fattylumpkin and CTR have been rocking the threads to an inch of their lives..

Speaking of within an inch of their lives.. I would like to apologise up front to the Furies for the smacking that they are about to receive... Thanks for coming :cool:

This is obviously another attempt by the powerbrokers that control the SFA (Gestappo like) to drive the Roys FC out of the competition. Making us take on the defending premiers in the first round? Anyway, we accept the challenge. Bring it on Furies.:mad:

I actually think they have done this deliberately so that we could send that message that we were talking about only last week.. Nice and loud and clear.... Its well and truly on like Donkey Kong... We are kicking this one off loud and proud... Screw taking it one week at a time, this is week one on the road to our premiership!!!

I'd asked Peterss about a thousand times to include proper stats after his practice matches, without success, so I dunno why I had such high hopes for this other concept :(

Anyways, he might be crap, but he's not as crap as the Furies.

Nevertheless, the Fighting Furies have been improving over the last few seasons, and may even feel they have a sniff of evening up the stakes with us. They're an up-and-coming side, starting to get runs on the board (especially against the other sides) and we won't be intending to take them lightly.

That was exactly how Reardo and I had decided that we were taking them... Lightly... And possibly from behind!!!

Reardo... Change of plans.. We have to take them heavily and with a bit of grunt... :cool:
